JANUARY WEEK 4 (of 4)
This weekend we saw the selection of a 16/1 winning underdog (WBA) which sees petethebet go clear at the top of the table in the final week of January to take the monthly cash prize.
Last weeks leader, weyayeman, takes second place, and finished 10.12pts behind the leader (as the game involving his underdog selection was postponed)

The following 5 posters also selected a winning underdog:
Devilimp, Crofty11, Bigmoose, Scratville & twfaulkner

there were 4 posters going close this weekend with the games ending in a draw:
Football DZR, Ally Boy, edandumdum & bluemal

That is it for another month as we wait for the weekend to come around and the start of the February competition, there will be 4 weekends to make selections in the Feb. competition.
Also the weekend of Feb 9th-10th-11th is the last chance for newcomers to join in to qualify for the season cash prize. (minimum of 15 selections to be made over the season to qualify for the season cash prize)

JANUARY FINAL TABLE (4 of4)

If anyone spots an error in the results please pm me and I will check it out a soon as possible

SEASON SUMMARY (after week 4 of 4 – January)
The last week of the January competition saw 16 selections with only 15 games taking place as 1 game was postponed (current leader, weyayeman’s selection)
4 games ended in a draw and we ended up with 6 winning underdogs with the biggest priced selection being WBA @ 16/1 selected by petethebet (with the 16/1 winner seeing him shoot clear at the head of the monthly table to take the January cash prize).
Weyayeman’s selection did not play as the game was postponed and he remains at the head of the table with a LSP of +20.98pts.
Bursting out of the chasing pack to take second spot, 4.58pts behind the leader, is petethebet

5 more winning underdogs were selected which saw the following players improve their position in the season table:
Crofty11 moves up from 8th to 6th with a LSP of +5.05pts
Bigmoose moves up from 35th to 23rd with a LSP of -1.31pts
Scratville moves up from 23rd to 11th with a LSP of +1.65pts
twfaulkner moves up from 24th to 13th with a LSP of +0.32pts
Devilimp remains in 41st with a LSP of -9.80pts

There are 16 weekly competitions remaining, so plenty of time to get those entries in to meet the minimum of 15 entries during the season to qualify for the season cash prize.

Hi sorry but my tip was for Wigan to win
Not wishing to be one of those annoying pedantic types. But according to all bookie odds League One Wigan weren't the underdog, Premier League West Ham were.

I don't understand why my season performance for a draw has declined from a profit of 2.80 to 1.80 given that my selection of Newport v Spurs ended as a draw ?

My picks have been poor all month after a good previous month.Going to have to have a re think of how I do my picks for next month, probably wait till nearer game times is a good idea.

Well done though to all those that picked regular winners. We have some great tippers on this site for sure.

Bigmoose
It was noted that Wigan were favourites at kick off, but on checking the historical odds (I use oddsportal) it can be seen that there was a move in the odds on Betway at around the time the Wigan selection was posted, therefore, the result stands (If we find a large difference between the odds posted and the odds available we will query it with the poster).

Ally Boy
I will look over the tables today and amend any errors (I am only human  )
If you have a query (or if you see any error with the results) it is best to PM me as I can then look into earlier, if you post on the message board it could be a few days before I see any queries. -

Stretchpaul
Your form has dropped off!, I made some money off your earlier selections (thankyou :win: ) and I could do with you returning to form soon! I have made a few quid backing draws and laying the underdogs opponents during this comp.

Ally Boy
The error in your draw LSP was down to the simple error of me not having entered the draw odds for the game.
these odds have been entered and now show the correct value, but as the draw odds data is for information only and does not affect the competition results I will leave the tables above as they are and the amended figures will show up in the tables posted next week

all the best to everyone for the February competition :win:

SEASON SUMMARY (after week 1 of 4 – February)

There were a few changes to the season competition table after the first week of February competition with 5 winning selections

weyayeman picks his 7th consecutive winning underdog to go 7.50pts clear at the head of the table with no changes to the 2nd to 5th positions.
mazeymay moves up to 6th from 10th after selecting a winning underdog this weekend (his 3rd winning underdog from last 5 selections)

also on the move were:

inplayking
(this weeks top scorer) moves from 25th to 11th
Football DZR moves from 24th to 15th (and sees his LSP move into the +ve also after 8 selections his underdog selection has lost on only 1 occasion)
and newcomer The Snail joins the competition in 10th position after his first selection of the competition wins at odds of 3.80

There are 15 weekly competitions remaining, so time is running short to get those entries in to meet the minimum of 15 entries during the season to qualify for the season cash prize.
