I had been keeping an eye on the Mladast v Radniki game and have just seen that the hosts are now as big as 13/5
or 3.60, they had been as short as 7/5 when the fixture was first posted on oddschecker at the beginning of the week
Seems very strange as the visitors were as big as 14/5

Having looked through my underdog list, I've gone with Xanthi for this thread. They've lost their last two away league games, but they came against the top two, Olympiakos & Panionios. Prior to those slipups they had 5 wins and a draw on the road and I dont consider Atromitos upto the same level as Xanthi's previous two opponents.

Atromitos have lost 4 of their last 6 at home and at the odds available, Xanthi are well overpriced here.

Atromitos Athinon vs Xanthi (Greek Super League) 1pm Saturday
Xanthi to win @ 13/5 (Ladbrokes)

titans choice gets us off to a decent start for the weekend. Very surprising drift
but looking at the stats for the game it seems they were the better side and
deserved the win. Similar to the drift we saw last weekend when Plymouth went
out to 19/10 from around 7/5 and beat Exeter 3-0, tipped up by nors

With no Premier League and a reduced Championship programme due to FA Cup (where no standout underdog at all) then its finding something from the lower leagues, so not the easiest of weeks but there's definitely some nice winners out there.

Championship
8 fixtures this weeked, and 4 of them have the home team as underdog. Barnsley (home to Brighton) look the best shout, although too much doubt for me from Barnsleys recent form and loss of players at end of the transfer window. But the way they ripped Leeds to bits recently can't be forgotten. I don't rate the chances of the other three, Burton (home to a flying Norw), the erratic Notts Forest (home to SheffW) and ordinary looking Ipswich (home to Leeds)

League One
Just 2 home underdogs in Swindon (2.9) vs Oldham (2.8) but Swindon in freefall losing last 5 and Oldham finding some form under their new manager. And a poor Port Vale (3.75) home to a poor away team in Bristol Rovers. Hmm, possible.
As much as its already picked i still must mention how cracking the away team look in:

MK Dons(2.25) vs Fleetwood (3.56) My own money definitely will be on a flying Fleetwood side, now 4th in the table and 15 games unbeaten. Admittedly only 6 of these 15 games have been away, and 3 wins 3 draws from these 6 away, but they did beat SheffU away. MK Dons have improved recently and are now 14th in league, although the fixture list has helped with lots of easier games, and they've yet to beat a top half team at home. So i personally have Fleetwood as marginal favourites so love the 3.56

League Two
No standouts, bar one match, for me. Barnet (a weak team at home), Hartlepool (against 2nd placed Plymouth) and Grimbsy (3.40) home to Mansfield are quite long odds for the home teams but don't look great shouts. I really could see Grimbsy winning though, but recent form puts me off.
So that just leaves a bit of an away longshot that i like the look of:

Blackpool (1.75) vs Crewe (5.20) - Blackpool have a season home record (WDL) of 5-6-3, an ordinary midtable side who do ok at home but have drawn the last 3 and lost the 2 before that of their last 5 home matches. Only 1 win from last 8 in league home & away too, an improbable 4-1 away win at Carslile. But i just fancy erratic Crewe, a really young squad (avg age 20 i believe) who blow hot and cold. A Crewe 5-0 home win to Grimbsy last weekend was followed up by a 2-1 midweek home win against Wycombe. With a 3-5-7 away record i can see why they're priced long, but an instinct bet after hearing about a woeful Blackpool down Fratton Pk last weekend and before that some very ordinary Blackpool results scoring just 8 goals in their last 9 matches (4 of them in one match).

Week25 Pick
Crewe @ 5.20

Barnsley V Brighton
Brighton have missed their chance to go clear of Newcastle at the top of the league having taken only 1 win from their last 4 games.
Brighton have conceded 8 goals in their last 3 away games with 2 losses(3-1 & 2-0) and a draw (3-3).
Barnsley's home record is not the best in the league with only 6 wins form 16 games but their recent home form shows that in their last 6 home games they have lost only 1 game whilst winning 3 of them.
If Barnsley can continue with their recent home form they should be good enough for a point today and with Brighton's recent dip in away form the odds of
3.75 for Barnsley to take all 3 points look well worth taking.

Barnsley to win at home at 14/5 or 3.8 (Pinnacle) Saturday 3-00pm

My preferred underdog is Millwall..but as that is taken , i will try falkirk who are 13/8 against morton at 6/5 on the Coral coupon.

falkirk are on arun of three was including a 3-0 beating of Dundee United, morton are missing their top scorer and i fancy Falkirk to outscore them today.

3.00 on saturday the 18th

In fact Posh Tony, i have a game for Sunday

I fancy an Underdog in Spain this week.

Valencia v Athletico Bilbao

Valencia are as low as 5/4 to win this game but have a home record of 2 wins, 2 draws & 5 defeats, they have scored only 13 goals and conceded 21 goals.

Athletico Bilbao have only won 2 on the road, they have also drawn 2 and lost 6.

Valencia lost their last home league game 4-0 against Eibar, who sit on the same points as Bilbao.

Bilbao won the last league meeting here 3-0 in February 2016 and are massively overpriced at 5/2 (Betfair) to win the game.
