Do You Have A Football Betting System?

Postby nors » Tue Feb 07, 2017 11:07 am

Last month we ran a match between two horse racing systems. viewtopic.php?f=6&t=61949

The tipsters added their system theory and then each day added selections based on the systems.

We would like to do similar for Football. OLBG member Mathsbet has volunteered to add his football system selections so we need a football tipster with a system to take him on. It must be a system and not random selections because you fancy them.

I would hope to start this Mathsbet v ??????? next Saturday so if any members wish to put themselves forward please post on this thread.

Just to add, I only do 1x2s (including Asian handicaps, double chance, etc) and correct scores. I haven't been able to crack the over/under goal markets yet, nor do I have systems for other events like corners.

Hello mathsbet I have a system I use for english football leagues ; I'LL give it a go for a couple of weeks ONLY 1.X.2. no correct

scores as the odds are disproportionate ;the systems must be compatible so your comparing like with like;

No point me putting up selections if you go correct score 5-1 at 150/1 on some random game ....and I'M not doing correct scores.

But if your up for your system picks against my system picks then lets have a go and see if we an both make a profit. :hope:

Yes, that's fair enough, only 1x2 (I assume handicaps, draw no bet and double chance bets are ok?)

The fairest way would seem to be to try to have a similar number of selections. I do the Premier League, but not the lower English leagues, so my selections would also come from other European leagues. Usually, I will have around 20 selections per week (assuming no mid-week games), so assuming that you will have 20 selections from the English leagues, it should be fair enough. Otherwise, I can nominate particular leagues to post selections from if you will have fewer selections.

sounds like a plan; if we agree to stick max 20 selections saturday to friday ; for two weeks so max 40 selections over the 2 week test of the systems ;that would seem fair for both systems; We can start this saturday 11th feb and finish friday 26th feb.

Rules 1 selections 1 X 2 ONLY

2 max number selections per week 20 matches

3 no biting or eye gouging

4 winner determined by level stake profit on OLBG prices at time tips are placed.......

I think that about covers it anything else you think we need to clarify before starting let me know...good luck :hope:

I prefer to start on the Friday because there are a handful of games on a Friday night, and we can get the rest of our weekend selections placed in advance (I like early prices).

I assume you are okay with Asian handicaps, draw no bets, double chance bets?

Finally, I think we should allow eye gouging, but I agree with the prohibition on biting.
