Thursday 16th February - Europa League
Manchester United v St Etienne - 20:05pm

1x2 Man Utd
HT/FT Draw/Man Utd
O/U Over 2.5
Correct Score 2 - 1

ManU have been quite solid at home this season, losing only the one game against city rivals ManC. This home form obviously includes their 3 wins in the Europa League, with 9 goals scored in them and only 1 conceded. St Etienne, however, have been a very good away team in Europe and have been quite good at limiting opposition to a nominal 1 goal in their away fixtures both in their domestic league and in Europe. ManU have the better recent form of the two teams, Maurinho is likely to field a full-strength side and with the advantage of playing in front of their home crowd they should be able to get the win. I don't expect it to be a blowout, though - a quiet first half, with goals coming in the second with the odd one in favour of ManU to take a minimal advantage on their trip to France in a week's time. Good luck all!

Heidenheim vs. Stuttgart

Stuttgart
Draw/Stuttgart
Over 2.5
2-1 Stuttgart

Heidenheim are having an indifferent season, and currently have just 1 win in their last 4 league games. At home they are solid though and have a 6-2-2 home record this season. Top of the table Stuttgart are doing well in their quest to bounce straight back up, and have won their last 3 league games. Away from home they have gone a decent 5-2-3 this season. This one is really hard to call, and i am tempted to sit on the fence with a draw. However, Stuttgart are on a good bit of form and i think they'll sneak it with a late goal.

Friday 17th February - German Bundesliga 2'
Heidenheim v VFB Stuttgart - 17:30pm - (BT Sport 3')

1X2:.......................VFB Stuttgart
HT/FT:...................VFB Stuttgart/VFB Stuttgart
Overs/Unders:....Under
Correct Score:....0-2

These two use to play only club friendlies with each other till this season as VFB Stuttgart got relegated , They had played five club friendlies through the years with VFB Stuttgart winning four and a 2-2 draw in 2015 here , The meeting this season saw the first match played in Mercedes-Benz Arena Stuttgart in competition and low and behold Heidenheim go and beat them for the first time 1-2 ,

VFB Stuttgart has strengthened with four players coming in last month , where as Heidenheim only brought two in with one of them on loan but there results have not been great since league started up again after winter break with two lost and a win, VFB Stuttgart on the other hand have had three wins and only losing one goal and scoring five ,

VFB Stuttgart are now top on 41pts and 4pts clear of Hannover, Heidenheim are in 5th place on 32pts , To me VFB Stuttgart are a stronger team now than when they meet in 4th game of the season so I can see revenge tonight in a VFB Stuttgart win ,

Saturday 18th February - FA Cup 5th Round
Burnley v Lincoln City - 12:30pm - (BT Sport 2')

1X2:.......................Burnley
HT/FT:...................Burnley/Burnley
Over/Under:......Under
Correct Score:....2-0

Burnley have only lost three times in all competitions at home and are on eight games undefeated run with seven wins and last week a draw with Chelsea a game that Burnley came from 0-1 down in 9' to draw level in 24' and go in HT 1-1 with no more goals ,

Lincoln City from Vanarama National League have already played five rounds and seven matches as they needed a replay against a team from same league in Guiseley, and Lincoln City had to do it the hard way after a 0-0 at home they won away at Guiseley ground 1-2 in their opening Qualification - Final of FA Cup, needed another replay in 1/32-finals against Ipswich a 2-2 draw at Portman Road Ipswich a game that they led 1-2 before Ipswich drew level in 86' but Lincoln City won replay at home 1-0

Lincoln City wanted a Premiership side and although they would have wanted one of the big four they'll still get it tough against Burnley, I feel if Burnley play a full team they'll beat Lincoln City as there 10pts clear of relegation zone so no reason to not play a full team ,

Friday 17th February - German Bundesliga 2'
Heidenheim v VFB Stuttgart - 17:30pm - (BT Sport 3')

1x2: Heidenhem
HT/FT: Heidenhem / Heidenhem
Over/Under: Over
Correct Score: 2-1

Heidenhem are in full confidence coming into this match after secured 2-0 win at Wurzburger Kickers in the previous match and stopped their 2 matches losing run. Their performance dropped since end October 2016, have suffered 5 defeats and a draw in their last 10 matches. They are quite strong at home where they’ve secured 6 wins in their last 10 matches, and place 4th on the home table. They have also scored at least one goal in each of their last 10 matches, and in 9 of their last 10 home matches where they managed to keep 6 clean sheets.

VfB Stuttgart are at the top of the league table after secured 41 points from 20 matches, 3 points ahead of second placed Hannover 96. They must be in high morale coming into this match after registered 3 consecutive wins in the league, and in a mission of securing another maximum point to maintain their status as the league leader. They are placed 2nd on the away table after secured 17 points from their last 10 matches. They have won 2 of their last 4 matches on the road.

Heidenhem defeated of VfB Stuttgart 2-1 in the previous meeting at Stuttgart, and I’m sure they will try hard to make it two in a row. Furthermore, Heidenhem really needs to win this match in order for them to keep their promotion bid still alive.

:win: HEIDENHEIM v STUTTGART

1x2: Stuttgart
HT/FT: Stuttgart / Stuttgart
Over/Under: Over 2.5
Correct Score: 1 ~ 2

Both Heidenheim and VFB Stuttgart have shown equal form in theur respective Last 5 Hone and Away League Games with Both Teams having Won 3, Drawn 1 and Lozt just 1 of those respective Last 5 Home and Away League Games, Which would suggest likely Draw due to their equal form, But when looking at more recent form in their respective Last 4 League Games, Heidenheim have Won 1, Drawn 1 and Lost 2 of their Last 4 League Games whilst Stuttgart have Won 3 and Lost just 1 of their Last 4 League Games, Which would suggest that Stuttgart have shown slightly better form in those Last 4 League Games which edges me in favour of likely Stuttgart Win or Draw, Which is somewhat supported by the fact that Heidenheim have Conceeded at least 2 Goals in 2 of those 4 Games and kept just 1 Clean Sheet, Whilst Stuttgart have Conceeded more than 1 Goal in just 1 of those 4 Games and kept 2 Clean Sheets, Which edges me just slightly in favour of superiour form and defense shown by Stuttgart in those respective Last 4 League Games to secure Win this evening.
Whilst looking for Scoreline, With Heidenheim having Scored in 3 of their Last 4 League Games and with Stuttgart having Scored in 3 of their Last 4 League Games, I'm edged in favour of Both Teams Scoring this evening as seen in Last Meeting, But with Heidenheim having Conceeded at least 2 Goals in 2 of those 4 Games whilst Stuttgart have Conceeded more than 1 Goal in just 1 of those 4 Games, With the fact that Stuttgart are Bundesliga 2's Joint-Topscorers (35' Goals in 20' League Games) and whom have Prolific Goalscorer Simon Terodde (14' Goals in 18' League Games - With 10' of those 14' Goals having been Scored in 6 of Last 9 League Games) avaliable edges me slightly in favour of Stuttgart securing Win this evening.

Saturday 18th February - FA Cup 5th Round
Burnley v Lincoln City - 12:30pm

1X2 Burnley
HT/FT Burnley / Burnley
UNDER/OVER Over
CORRECT SCORE 2-1

Burnley have won 2 drawn 1 and lost 2 of their last 5 matches played , and sit 12th in the Premiership, drawing their last match played 1-1 at home against Chelsea. Lincoln City have won 4 and lost 1 of their last 5 matches played, and sit Top of the Conference, winning their last match played 3-2 at home against Woking. Both these teams won their 4th round ties at home, Burnley beating Bristol City 2-0 , and Lincoln City beating Brighton 3-1 . These two teams have only met twice before both in the League 1 both ended in a 1-1 draw in 1998/99 season .This is a close game, Burnley have progressed since then, while Lincoln where retreating down the Leagues. Lincoln City have been in good form an have every chance of getting back up into League 2, I am taking Burnley with the home advantage to win this tie at home today.

Correct Score: 1-2

Stuttgart have won their first 3 games of 2017 and sit 3 points clear at the top of the league. They have won 5 of their 10 away games and have the best away record of any team in Bundesliga 2.Heidenheim have lost 2 of their last 3 matches but at home usually get on the score sheet at least.Stuttgart have the better team and should be able to pick up a win here. However if they do go back up they may have to strengthen their team more as I do not think they would be good enough to stay in top league next season.

Heidenheim have a chance of promotion this season as after 20 matches they sit in 5th place and are only 4 points off the play-off place and only 6 points off an automatic promotion place. At home they're fairly strong too with just 2 defeats all season but they take on the glamour team of the division tonight who've won the Bundesliga 5 times and they currently sit at the top of the league as they look to earn promotion back to the Bundesliga 1 where they'll believe they belong. Stuttgart have also won their last 3 on the bounce so they're in good form and a narrow away win is what I predict here.

Heidenheim v Stuttgart
draw
draw/draw
under
1-1
Heidenheim won the reverse fixture back in September and could get something in the return at home. They have lost just two of ten games in front of their own fans and conceded just seven goals. They may have been a little rusty after the winter break as they lost consecutive games but they bounced back to beat Wurzburger. Stuttgart are on a roll with three straight victories but they have won only fifty per cent of their away games this season and they lost at Wurzburger just before Xmas. On balance a draw between two top five clubs seems fair

It's the FA cup so shocks do happen, however the gulf in class should be evident and a comfortable home win achieved.
That is not what the media or natural fans want, they love a fairy tale, but I don't think they will find one here, despite Lincolns exploits in the competition to date.

What really helps Burnley is that recent results have made them sit comfortably in mid table, and as such the manager may resist the temptation to rotate the squad, and will see this as an ideal opportunity to progress a stage further.
