Southampton v arsenal
Home
Home/home
Over
2-1
Arsenal boss Wenger rings the changes for the cup tie and as always with the Gooners it is hard to knock which team will turn up. Southampton have already defeated the Arsenal on their own patch in the League Cup and may do the double back at St Marys. They will be in high spirits following the midweek League Cup semi final victory at Anfield. Southampton have won the past two meetings at St Marys and have not lost at home to Arsenal in the past six clashes. On a three game winning streak both at home and overall the Saints can go marching on.

Sunday 29th January - England FA Cup (4th Round)
Millwall v Watford - 12:00pm - (BBC One')

1X2 : Millwall
HT/FT : Draw/Millwall
Over/Under : Under
Correct Score : 1-0

Millwall have gone 7 games without a loss and they have already beat Premiership side Bournemouth in the FA Cup.They are pretty strong at home too with 4 straight wins here.Watford have reverted to defensive tactics probably because of their many injured players. They are very likely to play a young side in this match and I believe Millwall will take advantage.Watford have been poor on the road recently and another giant killing this weekend looks likely here.

Sunday 29th January - England FA Cup (4th Round)
Millwall v Watford - 12:00pm - (BBC One')

1x2: Millwall
HT/FT: Millwall / Millwall
Over/Under: Under 2.5
Correct Score: 2 ~ 0

Millwall’s recent home form at the New Den has been good with four straight home wins and all against opposition south of Watford. The Lions have kept two clean sheets and thrashed Bournemouth by three goals to nil in the last round. Watford’s recent road form has been poor with a draw at Bournemouth and four straight defeats before that.
Watford have scored only three times in their last five away games. Millwall have scored ten times in four home games, suggesting a narrow home win with few goals.

Millwall lie in 10th place on 40pts and only 5pts off Rochdale in 6th place in last playoff place but with this a London derby you've got to wonder if cup is priority or getting back up to Championship , the chairman will want a cup run for extra cash but manager may want promotion and the way the managers have played fringe players in FA Cup to me its disrespectful to English FA and to Fans who are expecting to see your strongest side out ,

Watford position in the Premiership means they could play a weaken side as there only 6pts off relegation trouble in 14th place and play Arsenal at the Emirates on Tuesday night as that where the cash cow is in the Premiership , The Manager also has to decide will he play his on loan striker M'Baye Niang from AC Milan at The New Den in a Cup Tie when it will not be fancy football from Millwall as they'll be right up for this match after knocking out Bournemouth 3-0 in last round ,

The only good thing for Watford they've a good H2H with Watford winning 3 times a draw and 1 lost at The New Den and have some London lads in team and if Niang registered in time to play they may sneak a win

MILLWALL v WATFORD

1x2: Watford
HT/FT: Watford / Watford
Over/Under: Over 2.5
Correct Score: 1 ~ 3

Both Millwall & Watford have Won just 1 of their respective Last 4 Games in all competitions with Millwall having Drawn All of remaining 3 of those 4 Games whilst Watford have Drawn 2 and Lost 1 of remaining 3 of those 4 Games, Which would suggest that Both Teams have shoen near equal form and as such could suggest possible Draw as seen in 3 of Millwall's Last 4 Games and as seen in 2 of Watford's Last 4 Games, And although when looking at Millwall's Home form (League One) and Watford's Away form (Premiership) would suggest a possible Millwall Win or Draw, But it is worth noting that Watford hold fine record against Millwall with Watford having Won 7, Drawn 2 and Lost just 1 of their Last 10 Meetings including having remained unbeaten in Last 4 Meetings which includes 3 Wins and 1 Draw in those Last 4 Meetings including having Won Last Meeting (Away) with 0-2 Scoreline (April 2015), Which edges me slightly in favour of Watford Win or Draw, But a real concern is whether Watford field decent Squad of first-team Players including Kaboul, Kabasele, Capoue, Okaka, Deeney and hopefully their new arrival from AC Milan ''M'baye Niang'', And although no teamsheet is avaliable as of yet i'm edged in favour of Watford fielding decent Squad to ensure progression through to next round and although tempted with 1-2 Scoreline, If fielding strong-squad including aforementioned Players then 1 - 3 Scoreline Win for Watford looks worthy result against Millwall side whom ply their trade Two Divisions lower than Watford considering Watford have Won their Last 2 Meetings with 2' Goal margin (3-1 & 0-2).

MILLWALL v WATFORD

1x2: Millwall
HT/FT: Draw/Millwall
Over/Under: Under
Correct Score: 1-0

I think this could be a tough day for Premier League Watford. They're currently on a very poor run of form which has seen them win just 1 of their last 8 matches in all competitions and that was a win over Burton Albion. Millwall on the other hand haven't lost any of their last 7 games and they game Premier League Bournemouth a right kicking in the last round as they beat them 3-0 at the den. Millwall look strong at home and with a fierce crowd behind them I think Watford might struggle and the home win looks likely.

MILLWALL v WATFORD

1x2: Millwall
HT/FT: Millwall/Millwall
Over/Under: Over
Correct Score: 2-1

Millwall hosts Watford. Both teams have drawn 2 games in a row. Millwall is also unbeaten in the last 7 games after 4 wins and 3 draws. Millwall have also won 4 in a row at home and they have lost just 5 homegames this season in all competions. Watford have lost just 1 of the last 8 games and on the road they have gone 7 games without a win with losing 5 of those games. Watford have also won just 2 awaygames so far this season. Millwall have won just 1 of the last 10 games against Watford. But as they are at home then i still believe that they can get positive result from this game.

Millwall v Watford

1X2: Watford
HT/FT: Draw/Watford
Over/Under: Over
Correct Score : 1-2

The reasoning: Millwall are in 10th place in League 1, and not totally out of the chase for the promotion play-offs. Will that prove more important? They haven’t lost in their last 6 league games and have GD stats of 42:40 from 27 games. Watford are just so-so in the Premiership---in 14th place and probably safe from relegation traumas, so the Cup is their best chance for glory. Millwall will probably grab a goal, but against higher level opposition, they’ll probably concede at least a couple.

Klopp excuses can't go on any longer if Chelsea stuff them on Tuesday night he's not any better than Brendon Rodgers and maybe Liverpool are eyeing Gerrard to take over at end of season bring him in to the set up even though its the youth team its a start , There not playing in Europe this season and throw two cup games away by playing fringe and youth players,

Chelsea come here looking for revenge as Liverpool beat them 1-2 early in season in only Conte's fifth game in league in charge of Chelsea since then Chelsea have only lost another twice in league to Arsenal at Emirates 3-0 and at White Hart Lane 2-0 to Tottenham with one draw away at Swansea 2-2 , the Swansea ,Liverpool , Arsenal games all came two week spell in September 11th - 24th and since that bad spell they went 13tn league wins in a row before Tottenham win , Since then they went back winning again two in league and two wins in FA Cup ,

Liverpool in last ten games in all competitions have saw three wins ,three draws and four lost and out of two cups in that spell, Liverpool lost to bottom club Swansea 2-3 in last league game at Anfield followed by two cup defeats at home to Southampton 0-1 and Wolves 1-2, They now meet league leaders Chelsea who are 10pts clear of Liverpool and if Man City win and Chelsea win this match Liverpool will drop out CL place and go into 5th place and possible Man Utd being only 1pt behind them

For me more trouble for Klopp, Chelsea win

Things aren't going very well for Liverpool at the moment. They've gone out of both the League Cup and the FA Cup in the space of a week and their Premier League form is also questionable at this moment with a home defeat to Swansea and a couple of draws in their last 3 Premier League games. Their record against other top 6 sides though is quite good this season and I think that they're capable of getting at least a point against the current league leaders Chelsea tonight. Games between these two are in general quite tight affairs and I see this one being no different.

Well done to all the winners this month and good luck to all for next month. Also cheers for running the competition this month Pint Size.
