Away for Christmas so getting my Boxing Day bet in early.

Barnsley to beat Blackburn @ 5/4. Both sides are playing well and am expecting goals (so will also be doing Barnsley BTTS & win @ 100/30).

Fulham to beat Ipswich @ 6/4. Fulham scoring for fun and will be too strong for the Tractor Boys.

Peterborough o beat Gillingham @ 5/6. The Posh have been putting a decent run together and while the Gills have been good at home their away form is poor.

Treble pays out at just over 9/1. Merry Christmas and good luck to all, Carlos.

cheers for joining in & I hope you all enjoyed your Christmas.

Thankfully for me & followers of the blog the main bet delivered in style this weekend as the following all won :-

10p Super Heinz + £1 accumulator :-

ASTON VILLA at 8/13 to beat Burton
BRIGHTON at 4/7 to beat QPR
DERBY at 4/6 to beat Birmingham City
BOLTON at 1/2 to beat Shrewsbury
SHEFFILED UNITED at 2/5 to beat Oldham
MAN UNITED at 2/9 to beat Sunderland
MAN CITY at 1/3 to beat Hull City

that turned a £13 stake into £69, resulting in a 49 pt profit for the weekend, returns for the blog well over 300+ pts now & boosting the overall profit of the blog to +112 pts for the season so far.

Luckily for me I also had the bonus of hitting a fully correct small stakes goliath & acca on Boxing Day which cost £20 in total & returned £140 so it's been a good few days over Christmas. :D :win:

as I said in the blog I'm busy now at work in the bookies for the next 5 days so won't have time to cover this weekend and I'll be back with the blog for F.A. Cup Round 3 weekend but by all means feel welcome to join in with your weekend bets on here if you are punting this coming weekend.

Thanks for all the input so far this season & all the best for the new year and rest of the season :win:

A good result there tbuckley :win:

I had three winners from my selections, with Newcastle letting me down, so a small return was better than none at all
I had Newcastle as my final selection in several bets, so what I thought was going to be a very good day ended with only a small profit. I had the option to cash out for a decent profit, but I prefer to let them run, at least I did not lose :)
I will be looking over my 2016 betting records over the next couple of days and will be geared up for, hopefully, a good start to 2017.

total staked = 6pts

Peterborough let me down last week. Frustrating. Hoping for a New Year bonanza.

Burnley @ 7/5 to beat Sunderland. Burnley's form at home is decent. Sunderland don't travel well and will miss their keeper Pickford.

West Ham to beat Leicester @ 11/4. Bilic got them going at last and they are now up to 11th. Leicester making too many errors.

Barnsley to beat Birmingham @ 13/10. On paper they are closely matched but I think Barnsley showing the better form

Treble works out at just under 20/1. Good luck all and a happy and prosperous New Year, Carlos.

Chelsea
Man Utd
Derby for me in a treble today, pays around 7/4, not a big price but all three sides have the momentum
coming into these matches

I will add West Ham with the draw at 8/11 for a near 4/1 acca but the main focus is the above treble

decent priced treble

West Ham 2/1, Accrington 6/5 and Edinburgh city 13/8

Shorter priced five fold, with all the popular selections i am sure.
Derby 8/15
Sheffield united 1/2
Bradford 2/5
Plymouth 8/13
Partick 8/11

1 point treble, 1 point 5 and 1 point 8 fold..A bit hopefully i think!!
