Tottenham vs Liverpool

1X2: Tottenham
HT/FT: Draw/Tottenham
Over/Under: Over
Correct Score: 2-1

Spurs have had a bit of a mixed start to the season so a solid home win today will help them climb the table.Liverpool have also not been at their best and it just shows how unpredictable the Premiership can be.I think because of the way the played at Burnley last week I think they will find it hard to win today.Spurs did not have a midweek cup game like Liverpool so they will be fresher.A home win looks the best choice here.

Tottenham v Liverpool

Tottenham
Tottenham/tottenham
Over
2-1

Both sides are fairly well matched and play good attacking football hence why I think both teams will score, Liverpool picked up a good win over arsenal but the gunners were very weakened for that game, they struggled against a settled burnley side and spurs are also a settled side so they are likely to struggle at times in this one, spurs have started the season well and tend to start matches quickly, they have the players to hurt Liverpool so should come out on top and 2-1 looks good here for spurs

Sunday 28th August - Ligue 1
Monaco v PSG 19:45 (BT Sport 2)

1X2: PSG
HT/FT: Draw/PSG
Over/Under: Under
Correct Score: 0-2

Even without Ibrahimovic leading the line for PSG this season they still have more than enough quality in the squad to win the French title again this term even if by not so large a margin as last season.

Monaco have started their league season with a home draw against Guingamp and an away win at Nantes while PSG have won both their games away to Bastia and home to Metz without conceding a goal.

Head to head over the last 6 games between these 2 sides in all competitions have seen 2 PSG wins 3 draws and a solitary Monaco win which was at PSG in March when they ran out 2-0 winners.

I am going for a PSG win however as they are the class side in the division and I am going for under 2.5 goals as 5 of the last 6 games have been in that range.

Monaco finished 3rd last season and that is likely to be their limit of expectation again. No team can challenge PSG for the title in what will surely be a one horse race. They have had a decent start to this season but I dont expect them to worry Paris much. The visitors have a new style of play under the new coach,an even more attacking style than before which so far has worked well for them. The full backs bomb forward allowing the likes of Kurzawa to create and score goals too.Paris should beat most teams in France using this style as most will not be able to keep up with the pace of the team.Monaco will find out on Sunday too.

Sunday 28th August - Ligue 1
Monaco v PSG 19:45 (BT Sport 2)

1X2:......................PSG
HT/FT:..................PSG / PSG
Over/Under:..........Over
Correct Score:.......0-2

PSG topped the ICC tournament preseason with 3 wins scoring 10 and 2 goals against and carried on with winning French Super Cup 4-1 against Lyon and won the 2 opening games in league and win tonight over Monaco will see them go top , Although Ibrahimovic has left PSG Cavani ,Di Maria and Lucas have carried on scoring and don't seem to have missed Ibrahimovic

Monaco had CL Qualifier to play during the week after winning first leg 1-2 away at Villarreal with 2nd leg in Monaco on Tuesday the home side where more defensive after getting those two away goals and didn't score till 90+1 and that was a penalty,

In H2H of late we had a run of draws then two PSG wins and Monaco win in last meeting its was basically a none event game for PSG as league was won and it came after PSG had qualified for the 1/4 finals of CL against Man City but early days in league season PSG will be looking to go top

Monaco vs PSG

1X2: Draw
HT/FT: Draw/Draw
Over/Under: Under
Correct Score: 1-1

Monaco only lost 1 of their last 17 League games at the Stade Louis II. PSG won 20 of their last 24 League games away from home. In my opinion, these two factors cancel each other out. Hence, I think this game will end in a draw. 5 of the last 6 games between the two sides went Under 2.5. PSG did not concede in 7 of their last 8 League games. Hence, I am taking Under 2.5. Based on the above premises, my prediction is for this game to end in a 1-1 draw.

Monday 29th August - National League
Tranmere Rovers v Guiseley AFC 17:30 (BT Sport 1)

1X2: Tranmere
HT/FT: Tranmere
Over/Under: Over
Correct Score: 4-0

I learnt a long time ago that there is no such thing as a certainty in any sport especially football but this must be about as close as it gets!

Tranmere have started the season in blistering form winning 4 and drawing 1 of their first 5 games scoring 10 and conceding 3. They have won 3 out of 3 at home in that time against Barrow, Eastleigh and Maidstone and they are top of the division by one point from Dagenham and Redbridge.

Guiseley on the other hand could not have started the season in worse form losing all 6 of their opening league fixtures scoring 8 and conceding 17.

I am going for a comfortable Tranmere win and over 2.5 goals in the game as though Tranmere have averaged 2.17 goals per game so far Guiseley have averaged 4.17 goals in the same period in the 6 league games.

1x2 : PSG
HT/FT : draw/PSG
over/under : under
Correct score : 0-2

The 3rd round in the French league , Monaco drew there first game 2-2 with Guingamp which has turned out to be a good point in the end as Guingamp sit top of the league, They then won 1-0 away to Nantes curtisy of a 25th min Boschilis goal. They have since moved on to the next round in the champions league knocking out Villarreal. There current form is good winning 3 and drawing 1, Monaco have played PSG 17 times at home and won 7 games.,The last time Monaco beat PSG at home was Sept '09'. PSG are unbeaten in last 15 drawing 1 and winning 14.
Some people thought PSG were gonna struggle with Ibrahmovic moving to Man Utd but far from it, they beat Bastia 0-1 away thanks to a 74th Kurzawa goal. They then entertained Metz only to send them packing 3-0 and remain the only team in the French league to keep there 100% record.
Head to Head these 2 sides have played against each other 32 times since the turn of the century. Monaco won 11, PSG won 7, they drew 14. So surprisingly Monaco have the better record against eachother but times have changed and I would say PSG are now the dominant force of French football.
As you can see Monaco don't score many so I expect a very tight 1st half and PSG's class will tell in the end, there won't be goals in this game though which is why I've plumped for under.
GOOD LUCK ALL

Apologies for the delay in scoring. Been a heavy weekend and I'm sat in bed with a hangover doing the scoring!

GAME 26, FRIDAY 26TH AUGUST

Championship
Burton Albion v Derby County

1X2: Burton
HT/FT: Burton/Burton
Overs/Unders: Under
Correct Score: 1-0

Local derby which saw the underdog Burton Albion take all 3 points with a narrow win. Burton scored in the 12th minute through Irvine giving them a half time lead of 1-0. They defended well in the 2nd half and held out for a famous win over their more famous neighbours. Full time 1-0.

GAME 27, SATURDAY 27TH AUGUST

Premier League
Spurs v Liverpool

1X2: Draw
HT/FT: Liverpool/Draw
Overs/Unders: Under
Correct Score: 1-1

Quality game between two of the Premier League's most traditional clubs ended in a draw. Liverpool took a 1-0 lead into half time after Lamela brought down Firminio in the penalty area in the 42nd minute. James Milner scored from the spot. Spurs managed to get their equaliser in the 72nd minute after a decent finish by full back Danny Rose. The game finished 1-1.

9 predictions and 3 members went for the draw. Well done to both Zagreb & risto123 who both top scored with 25 points.

LEADERBOARD

After the 27th fence it's all got a very interesting as Zagreb has joined Bluemal at the front of the pack and Risto123 has closed in as he's now only 1.5 lengths off the lead in 2nd place. Devilimp & Syjytg aren't too far away and can still make a serious challenge as too can both Petethebet & Schneedler25. The last 4 fences are going to be very exciting as we approach the end of the race.

1X2: PSG
HT/FT: Draw/PSG

Correct Score: 1-2

Both teams are unbeaten after 2 league games and PSG is yet to concede a goal.
From the last 9 head to head games first 5 saw both teams finding the net but most recent 4 games saw just one team to score. Although PSG have won just 2 of these 9 games with 6 of them ended with a draw then i still think that they can get a narrow win from this game.

Tranmere Rovers v Guiseley AFC 17:30 (BT Sport 1)

1X2: Tranmere
HT/FT: Tranmere
Over/Under: over
Correct Score: 3-0

Tranmere Rovers have started the season with 5 wins abd a draw from 6 games while their opponents have lost all 6 games with conceding atleast two goals in each of those matches. Tranmere have also scored 2 goals in both 2 previous h2h games so i do expect them to do that again although the visitors obviously want to end their losing streak. Hosts to put more misery on their opponent shoulders.
