Scottish Premiership
Hearts v Celtic

Celtic

If Celtic want to catch Rangers then they have to assume Rangers will not drop many more points. The gap is 4 points. They have to win at places like this if they are genuine title challengers. That should be the players mentality.Hearts in 3rd place will give them a good game.I think this game will be full of incidents and it may take something controversial to win it for Celtic.

0-1

In their last 10 head-to-head games in all competitions, Celtic have won 8 times, lost once and won once on penalties after a tie in the regular time in the cup final. Celtic are second in the standings, Hearts are in third place with a 9-point gap. Knowing that they only need to win to keep competing with Rangers for first place, Celtic will be very motivated tonight. Overall, a win for the visitors looks more likely than any other outcome of this game

Hearts hosts Celtic in the scottish league on wednesday evening. Both sides are in decent shape as they won 4 of the last 5 matches. Hearts has scored 2 or more goals in 4 of the last 5 homegames from which they also won 4 and that despite keeping just 2 clean sheets. At the same time Celtic may have kept just 1 clean sheet in the last 5 awaygames but they still won 4 of them incl most recent 2. However Celtic even won 11 of the last 12 h2h matches incl most recent 2 therefore i expect them to be victorius this time aswell. Celtic to win.

Hearts v Celtic

1x2: Celtic
HT/FT: Celtic/Celtic
Overs/Unders: Under
Correct Score: 0-2

All is not yet lost for Celtic re claiming the title. They are in second place in the standings, but only 4 points behind rivals Rangers. Hearts are in third place, 9 points behind Celtic. Celtic won the last league fixture between the teams 1-0, so it won't be a walkover for them. However, I think they'll take all 3 points. They have the superior GD stats of 44:12. Hearts have GD stats of 31:18.

Celtic lost on this ground 2-1 earlier this season, however have been able to turn things around since then going undefeated in the last 10, 8 wins and 2 draws. They have scored 13 goals more and conceded 6 less than Hearts so despite the good home record for the hosts (7-3-1) I think Celtic shall win this. They are only 4 points below Rangers and a slip would further compromise their title hopes. This should be close since hosts are pretty decent on their turf so my selection will be Celtic to win 2-1.

Huddersfield
Huddersfield-Huddersfield
Under
1-0

Huddersfield are on an eight game unbeaten run that has seen them climb into the play off positions whereas stoke have lost four in five and now sit mid table after a decent start to the season. Stoke won the reverse fixture 2-1 and are undefeated in their past four visits to Huddersfield, with one win and three draws. Given the stronger current form of the home team I fancy a Huddersfield win by a single goal.

Huddersfield are putting in an unlikely charge for a play off place and are now 8 games unbeaten.Although probably not yet ready for the higher grade, they are nevertheless raising eyebrows in the Championship.Stoke are out of form having lost 4 in a row and they are most unlikely to make the cut unless they go on a long winning run which does not look like happening.I would have to go with the hosts then to get a narrow win tonight.

Huddersfield
Huddersfield - Huddersfield
Over
2-1

Huddersfield sit 6 points and 5 places behind there Midland rivals and come into the game on a run of 8 games unbeaten, there home form has been really good throughout the season but especially against the lesser teams, they are unbeaten in 8 games against sides outside the top 8 with 5 wins and 3 draws.
I was going to go for a draw tonight but Stoke's recent form just swayed me towards the home side, Stoke have lost 4 of their last 5, they have scored in all but one of those games though with all the defeats coming by a single goal and two of those defeats being 2-1. The reverse fixture was 2-1 to Stoke, I'm taking the West Yorkshire outfit to exact revenge tonight.

Huddersfield Town are holding onto that final playoff place as it stands and they host one of the sides they're in battle with for the play-off places in the form of Stoke City. Stoke City have lost 4 of their last 5 games in the Championship but their away form reads as 4 victories from the last 6 played so I'm sure they'll give Huddersfield Town a game. Huddersfield Town are unbeaten in 8 games in the Championship but they've drawn half of those 8 matches. 7 of the last 10 head to head meetings between these two sides have finished with under 2.5 goals scored so I'm going for a low scoring draw.

Game 27
Championship
Huddersfield v Stoke

1x2: Huddersfield
HT/FT: Draw/Huddersfield
Overs/Unders: Over
Correct Score: 2-1

Huddersfield are in sixth place in the standings, 6 points in front of Stoke who do have a game in hand. Although Stoke won the reverse fixture in September 2-1, Huddersfield are having a great run of recent form. They have not been beaten in the Championship since November and have notched up 4 wins and 4 draws from their 8 subsequent league matches. Earlier this month, they also had an away win at Premier League Burnley in the FA Cup. Stoke have lost 4 of their last 5 league matches. Huddersfield also have the slightly better GD stats of 37:33 (+4). Stoke's are 32:29 (+3)
