"I don't bet every spin I only bet when a certain thing happens."

Thats what I used to do too. My problem was getting greedy, for a while I was ok using the £500 chips and would make X amount a time and stop while ahead.

I had one bad night and instead of accepting it, I chased, and chased.....I ended up making just £300 off that original £50. Since then Ive not had the patience/tolerance with roulette, bad memories lol

True bet king , you loose out of your discipline and the longer you play the higher the chances that you hit a streak of bad luck and run out of money.

Random Number Generator

Postby calvin21 » Fri Jul 16, 2010 6:55 am

Hi

Does anyone know if the online roulette wheels using the playtech system, know where you have placed your bet?

You put your stake on, say red, then hit spin. Unsure if the system is aware of the chip placement. Hitting spin then generates the number via an algorithm programme.

Playing online Roulette is just a game and should be played for fun. Making profit should be the end result. Betting strategies, time limits, loss limits, bank roll management and Roulette Software are the way to go!

roulette

Thanks for posting this thread. I'm really not a player of this game but I still want to try it.

Well, I have a system that can guarantee you losing all of your money everytime... almost instantly too!
But for your own saftey and protection, I won´t publicly announce my system!

I´m just kidding, roulette is great fun... but its almost impossible to win at it... I play sometimes at really low stakes (0.50 cents) at my local casino with friends and I just try to follow the patterns... it works sometimes, but it doesn´t most of the times! haha

Well, it should be random, but how come that a "random" number hits 5-6 times in 15 rounds, while other so called "cold" numbers don't come up in like 100 rounds?

Obviously you can call this the randomness of the game, I call this the pattern... basically the same... But I much rather play the hot numbers rather then the cold ones... and I'm sure most people would agree. :win:

Randomness has patterns but they are random ones.

If you spin the roulette wheel 100000 times you have a high chance of getting a run of ten consecutive reds. But it will end up around 47% red and 47% black (assuming 0 and 00) and they offers odds of evens.

Thats true, but even the biggest gambling addicts won't stay that long in a casino (I assume?). But when you go to the casino to hang out with friends for a couple of hours and try your luck... you sometimes do see a pattern in that few hours, or even half an hour... the fact that at one table "grand series" hits a dozen times in 20 rounds, while the 5/8 series doesn't... I think thats a pattern and the smart play is to keep playing that grand series, until the "pattern" changes!

But thats a very unproven strategy obviously and I haven't really won anything big with it. but overall I don't lose big either... but that might have to do with the fact that I play at 50 cents table!

Not wishing to encourage new competition to the Dutch Government casino monopoly BUT ...

.... a better strategy is to get a table installed and run the casino at home, invite your friends round and wait for them to bet on HOT numbers.

Free (Lidl) beer if your friends are rich :win:

talk of hot and cold numbers is just nonsense. if a number has come up loads of times why should it be more probable itll come up again? probability has no memory. u can counterargue that a cold number is due on the same basis. that would also be nonsense!
