The Washington Capitals show no signs of slowing down and are now 11 points clear in the President's Trophy race with 4 games in hand over the 2nd placed team, Chicago.

They're a best priced 4/1 but I wouldn't rush out to take that price anytime soon. Only two of the last 12 Stanley Cup winners have won the President's Trophy and a lack of meaningful games down the stretch could eventually hurt the Caps

How will the trade deadline affect the postseason run-in?

what a shocking run-in from the Rangers and it looks like they're going to have to go on the road to Pittsburgh in round one of the playoffs.

The Rangers road form has been superb over the last couple of years under Alan Vigneault but it's been a different story in 15/16 and they have the fewest road wins of any top 3 team in either division. An early playoff exit looking likely for the Blueshirts

Hard to tell any playoff matchups just yet but for sure the way the Penguins have finished the season it would be tough to go on the road there.

Looks like the Rangers are going to win this one tonight though, a step in the right direction for them at least

Steve Mason starts in the net for the Flyers tonight at home to Toronto. It's the 6th time he's gone back to back and he's 1-2-2, 3.31 GAA, .905 save % in his previous five. He's also struggled this season against the Leafs.

With Jonathan Bernier in decent form, 1.89 GAA, .941 save % in his last seven, the 12/5 on Toronto is far too big a price

Just the one game tonight in the NHL but the regular season comes to an end this weekend with some playoff places still to be decided in the East.

Detroit's loss to Boston last night means that their fate is no longer in their own hands as whilst both themselves an Boston are tied on 93 points after 81 games, the Flyers are ready to pounce on 92 points after just 80 games.

Ottawa (already eliminated) @ Boston
Pittsburgh (guaranteed home ice in first round) @ Philadelphia

I'll be taking the Boston/Philly double tomorrow with both at home against teams who don't need the win
