Euroleague 2015/16

Postby undertherobe » Thu Oct 22, 2015 10:27 pm

This season's Euroleague started last week with only two road teams victorious. Who are the teams to watch this year?

Real Madrid (2/1) are the reigning Champions and have made three straight Final Fours.

CSKA Moscow (2/1) have made the last four Final Fours with just one runner-up spot to show for it

Olympiakos (8/1)
have reached three of the last four Final Fours, winning in 2012 & 2013.

Greece, Spain & Russia have made up 31 representatives (77.5%) in the Final Four over the last ten years.

Week 8 of the opening round draws to a close tonight. The points scoring of two for a win & one for a loss makes the groups a lot closer than they should be but surprise results have been aplenty so far.

Not least, defending champions Real Madrid who had a crucial win against Fenerbahce last night to move to 3-5.

No defending champion has lost more than three games in the first round since the competition moved to its current format a few years ago
