Jake Quickenden's odds have collapsed as he firms into being the seemingly only credible winner as he's 2/1 or less ATB. His next nearest challengers are Perri Shakes-Drayton (the Little Mix fanbase may carry her all the way to the final), Brooke Vincent, Max Evans and Kom Cotinay who are the only other ones in less than double figure odds.

Candice Brown is seemingly a victim of anti-BBC bias as much as the fact she can't ice-skate. She will be in the skateoff against whoever else finishes up last in the judges scoring next week.

Hi stereoman,

Yes this is as much a popularity contest as Strictly was. One note though Perri Shakes-Drayton Isn't part of Little Mix, she's an Athlete. I'm not sure she will have the same amount of support. I maybe wrong though!

Current Betting -
Jake Quickenden 3
Perri Shakes-Drayton 5
Brooke Vincent 6.5
Max Evans 6.5
Kem Cetinay 7.5
Alex Beresford 11
Stephanie Waring 17
Lemar Obika 26
Antony Cotton 34
Candice Brown 34
Donna Air 34
Cheryl Baker 51

An absolute 'brain freeze' on my behalf. I don't even watch the show so merely scanned through the article, saw Perri and thought "Perrie Edwards" for some reason.

Following the Golden Globes online in the middle of the night exclusively through Twitter when it wasn't shown on ANY TV channel in the UK (did the HFPA price themselves out!?) will take its toll.

Max Evans has questioned the credentials of one judge...guess who!?

Can Jason Gardiner skate on ice well or 'ice dance' to a professional standard? I strongly suspect he still can't even after all these years! He's probably the least qualified judge in a reality/talent contest since Jo Brand on "Splash!"!

Antony Cotton getting pelters for looking down his partner's top...would imagine even if he is go-to ITV reality TV show stalwart that he could be amongst the first few out.

Lemar was bottom this week meaning a battle of the ex-BBC reality show contestants in the skate-off but Candice lost on judges tiebreak, with Christopher Dean having the deciding vote, and was first out.

I thought Lemar was lucky really and will have to really improve for next week. Interesting, but predictable, that Cheryl stayed in despite being hardly able to stand on the ice. She definitely got the sympathy vote (and mine). How long can she stay in?

Stephanie loses out and is the second person eliminated as Lamar survives on judges tiebreak yet again.

Lemar was lucky again as he beats Steph in the Skate Off. Steph didn't have the support I thought she did! Antony and Cheryl are still hanging in there as the votes pour in for them!

Not really following it but Lemar survives yet another skate-off this time outlasting Perri Shakes-Drayton meaning three female celebrities have gone in a row.

Think Perri was at least double figure odds to be out tonight.

Lemar was better this week and Perri wasn't the worst skater. Not enough public support though.

Lemar escapes the skate off and it's Cheryl Baker against Donna Air. Cheryl rightly went home, but Donna will need to impress the public next week. Jake Quickendon smashed it tonight and is so far in front of everyone else skating wise it's unbeleivable. Does he have the public behind him though? Probably!
