I think you're right on Susan, she may even pick up the Rev's votes also.

Elmination odd from bet365 -

Simon Rimmer 2.2
Brian Conley 3.75
Charlotte Hawkins 5
Ruth Langsford 6.5
Susan Calman 11
Joe McFadden 34
Jonnie Peacock 34
Mollie King 34
Davood Ghadami 51
Gemma Atkinson 81
Alexandra Burke 151
Debbie McGee 151
Aston Merrygold 201

I've gone for Simon, I think he will struggle with the Samba.

Good luck if you have a bet!

I'm taking a fairly speculative punt on Ruth Langsford going. Sure the BBC could do with the free publicity as "Strictly..." gets mentioned on "This Morning" but she's effectively a lame duck with her hamstring injury, and she is as high as 6/1 over at Stan James.

Brian Conley coming into 9/4 or less and challenging Simon Rimmer at the head of the market to be third eliminated.

Simon Rimmer goes into odds-on at 8/11 over at bet365 in-running with Brian Conley 11/4. Charlotte Hawkins is 4/1, Susan Calman and Ruth Langsford are 12/1 then it's 40/1 bar.

First 10's of the Series tonight for Alexandra, but on the other end of the scale Simon was truly awful despite his effort.

It was Davood (!?) vs. Charlotte in the dance-off with Charlotte out. Justifies being on the front page of Oddschecker but that wasn't necessarily a good indicator.

...and for those who bet on it over at Coral, it was Darcey, a 6/4 shot, who awarded the first 10 of the series to Alexandra as Craig only gave a 9.

I had a nibble on Susan ( also backed her to win).

I would be stunned if one of these John Sergeant/Lisa Riley type gambles ever comes off where the joke act wins. Some might argue that it's already been done with Darren Gough and Chris Hollins winning.

Those gambling on Susan Calman are likely praying she somehow makes it to the final where the judges do not matter as it's just the public voting for the winner.

Meanwhile, Gemma Atkinson nudges ahead of Debbie McGee with some bookies to be third favourite. Alexandra Burke is either the favourite or joint favourite ahead of Aston Merrygold.

Elimination Odds -

Simon Rimmer 2.37
Brian Conley 3
Ruth Langsford 5.5
Susan Calman 11
Davood Ghadami 12
Mollie King 26
Joe McFadden 29
Jonnie Peacock 41
Debbie McGee 101
Gemma Atkinson 101
Alexandra Burke 201
Aston Merrygold 201

I've gone for Brian once again! I think his Jive will be entertaining, but not as good as Simon's Charleston. Unless they both stay out of the bottom two and we have a real shock. Can't see it though, not at this stage.

Are you having any money on?

So many ties on the leaderboard tonight. The bottom two will be interesting after a 4 people scored just 16 points.

No Bruno tonight. Hmmm. Production crew with access to phones are apparently starting to leak results over on Facebook according to one or two folks on the DS forum while there is supposed to be a big clampdown on audience members having phones.

Brian vs. Simon in the dance-off...and Brian is out!
