The tenth series started on Saturday night and the early favourite is 12 year old singer Beau Dermott after she gets the first Golden Buzzer. I don't think she can go 'wire-to-wire' and win. There's always a twist and a betting sting with a Simon Cowell production.

I do not care for it at all but have followed the odds movement over the years with morbid interest. Sometimes the favourites do win. sometimes they don't much like last year's fairly surprising result.

Quick reaction from glancing at the odds suggest Another Kind of Blue sort of justifies being the favourite being a mixture of what 'BGT' loves...dance acts and being gimmicky. They're mostly not British but who cares!?

All four acts that have had Golden Buzzers so far have been singing acts...which is a bit odd.

I'd say Richard Jones has a chance of doing a Jamie Raven to be in the final three in that he stands out amongst a sea of singers (and when 100 Years of Gospel are on stage that'll be quite literal!), and viewers may respond to someone being other than a singer.
The 'BGT' producers backing him up after Debbie McGee accused him of nicking one of Paul Daniels' tricks helps his cause.

I don't give Vox Fortis a chance in hell. Non-white men on Simon Cowell shows do NOT do well, with Andy Abraham and Marcus Collins still the best placed finishers finishing second behind Shayne Ward and Little Mix respectively on 'The X Factor' back in 2005 and 2011.

Quite a few acts on this year's 'BGT' have had 'professional experience' such as Beau Dermott and Jasmine Elcock.

Some people are getting het up about Ben Blaque and his crossbow...who was a finalist over on 'America's Got Talent' back in 2012. Simon Cowell has claimed never to have seen an act like his before...s'funny considering he's an executive producer of that show.

Simon Cowell pressed his Golden Buzzer for Boogie Storm...some dancers dressed up as Stormtroopers from 'Star Wars' dancing to pop music.

It'd be typical if a 'protest vote' for Boogie Storm made them somehow win this but I doubt the producers will ever let it get that far. Dog acts? Yes. Twice.

The show is already a mockery and is almost beyond parody though.

Far too many singers for my liking and something surely has to to give. Richard Jones and Another Kind of Blue still heading the market is indication of something...not sure what though.

I'd be worried if I was Christian Lee because of Richard Jones. He seems like the producers' 'go to' magician and there surely won't be two in the final.
