It's gone now.

Some suggesting that there was no such megabucks offer to Daniel Craig in the first place.

Latest odds as to who will be his replacement from William Hill...

Paddy Power offering a fair big carrot to insiders who know whether or not that Daniel Craig will return to do the 25th James Bond film as they offer:

Yes 8/11 and No 'evens'.

All this time and they still haven't confirmed who it'll be!? Have no idea when production on the new film is supposed to start but EON/Sony are taking their sweet sweet time.

What does Roger Moore say!? Aiden Turner or Tom Hiddleston.

Michael Fassbender has ruled himself out...

...but who asked him anyway? Always in the middle tier of betting and he's supposedly 'difficult to work with' anyway so they don't want another moody fella.

"James Bond 25" scheduled for 'autumn 2018' apparently but Daniel Craig is non-committal with Sony supposedly only willing to co-finance the next film if he's in it (!?).

Maybe the auditioning process has yielded no outstanding candidates but EON surely won't be hostage to Daniel Craig's demands. Will audiences be eager for a new actor to be James Bond?

Pierce Brosnan wants Daniel Craig to do a fifth film.

Have been monitoring this market haphazardly and though James Norton remains the uneasy favourite, I am slightly bewildered by Tom Hardy's odds still in single figures...some people reacting to rumours that Christopher Nolan has been approached to direct "Bond 25" with Tom Hardy as James Bond and Michael Fassbender as the villain!? Tom's certainly up for doing it!

Interesting..

After Batman I can see Nolan handling another franchise like Bond. It if he was to commit wouild he want to be tiied down to another say three films that could take about ten years to make?

And would Hardy be up for it in about ten years time?

One thing I've just thought of. Imagine if Nolan turns to another star of his latest film Dunkirk if he makes Bond.

Any odds on Harry Styles..?!? :D

Aidan Turner wouldn't answer when pressed about it on the red carpet by Digital Spy at yesterday's National Television Awards.

Who really knows but I'd suggest there may be some fire where this smoke is coming from if Aidan's not willing to say anything. He's probably at least had a screen-test.

Michael Fassbender now sharing favoritism along with Tom Hardy as they head the market ahead of James Norton and Aidan Turner...so many people being backed that it's just stupid.

Anybody who actually knows what's going on has 'inside info' and is therefore a cheat or psychically insane.

I don't think anything will be decided just yet. I can see Daniel Craig and maybe Sam Mendes stay for one one film before a change takes place.

After that, I'd say they'd go for someone young and well known.

But I could be wrong!

Bit of a Bond update...

From what I can tell the rights are up for grabs so there's some confusion over the next Bond. Paul McGuigan has been the latest director to be linked with the film having directed episodes of sherlock.

He's currently Film Stars Dont Die innovative Liverpool. Which stars Jamie Bell...

It might be Christopher Nolan directing "Bond 25" but we're still not anywhere near as to who will be James Bond in it.
