Christmas No 1

Postby James » Wed Nov 02, 2005 10:06 am

i know this is almost akin to seeing shops put out their decorations or getting a crimbo catalogue through your letter box but....

anyone seem any markets for this yet?

im torn 80-20 to going for fairytale of newyork (one of my favourite songs EVER) and that is this the way to amarillo "adaptation@ by "santa". only reason theres even any doubt is because i cant remember the last time there was a proper no 1 @ christmas so that kind of song might grab it

anyone heard of any others supposed to come out at the same time?

cheers (sorry!)

Im not exactly sure wot they are doing about kirsty maccolls part tho? maybe they will have the recorded part of her voice dubbed over a new version. ive had my money on bluesq at good odds of 25/1.

Still bitter about last year. I had a few thousand riding on tony christie and peter kays amarillo, but they decided that charity was more important than my pocket!

You'd have thought so but Coldplay have never had a number one, a lot of their fans already have the album and as good as Talk is, it ain't gonna shift enough to probably even be in the top ten.

The cold calculated gambles of The X Factor winner and Nizlopi make this almost equivalent to the race between Michael Andrews featuring Gary Jules versus The Darkness back in 2003.
