Basteraud is a huge loss for france and they were v poor in last game even with him playing. With rumours of unrest in the france camp I tink they cud collapse in this game.
New zealand IMO have being saving their best rugby for this stage and today I tink we will see just how good they are.
New Zealand -17.5 win at 7/4

Wales v SA is tough to call, I find SA one dimensional but they are very very good at what they do and when they are on form are very hard to beat. I think this game will be close, the only bet I am having in this game is for byran Habana to score a try to go to top of all trime tryscorer list ahead of the great Jonah Lumo.
Byran Habana to score a try anytime at 17/10

Would always be wary of France and turmoil... They play better when ignoring the coach and doing it themselves

You could be right jaybubs and thats the danger, but I dont think this french team is good enough escp without basteraud and if they go behind by much early on it could be a long night for them.

Average score NZ v France is 22-10 (last 5 games) while overall average is 25-13. With the unpredictable nature of France looking at the points totals might be a good bet rather than risking a large NZ victory.
Under 39.5 points is evens so worth a few quid.

In the opening quarter-final game I expect a very tight game, but i think the Springboks to have just a bit too much for the Welsh, though not by much - Bok's by 1-12 for me.

The NZ/France game is a little harder to predict, if the French come out playing attacking rugby then i think the all-blacks will tear them apart, but if they come to stifle the game then they have half a chance, don't think they will win but could make it tight.
A watching brief to start and will play in-running as the game develops.
The past is behind, learn from it. The future is ahead, prepare for it. The present is here, live it.

Sexton is out for Ireland.
I'd make Argentina favourites for that quarter final now.

Well all I can say is wow.... what a top class performance that was by 1-23 for NZ... that is why they are the best in the world and untouchable when they play like that... props handling and offloads better than any NH backs

Ireland down 20-10 against the pumas at half time,no team has ever come back from a deficit of 15 points or more in the world cup. Ireland gave the pumas a 17 point head start

Judging by how 6 nations teams have performed it going be a long night for scotland. Austrailia came out of much tougher group and much the better team here, I dont tink we will see a shock here and tink austrailia will get a few tries.

I am goin on Drew Mitchell to score a try anytime at 6/4, he is austrailias most profilic world cup try scorere and is in touching distance of all time world cup leading try scorer record.
