The KPMG Women's PGA Championship is the second of the five Majors on the 2017 LPGA Tour. The Locust Hill Country Club in Pittsford, New York was the host course from 2010 until 2013 and the event took place at the Monroe Golf Club, Pittsford, New York in 2014. The venue in 2015 was the Westchester Country Club, Harrison, New York and last year the event took place at the Sahalee Country Club, Sammamish in the state of Washington.
The host course for 2017 is the Olympia Fields Country Club, Olympia Fields, Illinois. It is a long course of 6588 yards with three par 5's and four par 3's and the final hole is a par 5 which can be reached in two shots and therefore provides the possibilty of an eagle being made.
In Gee Chun 16/1 has been in good form recently with two decent performances in her latest three LPGA events as she was 2nd in the Kingsmill Championship in May and jt 2nd in the Manulife LPGA Classic earlier this month. She seems to save her best for the Majors as she has obtained top 10 finishes in four of them and both of her LPGA victories have been in Majors ( U S Open in 2015 and the Evian Championship in 2016 ). She has the game to win this Major as she can play well from tee to green and can putt well ( ranked in the top 10 in the greens in regulation stats and also in the putts per GIR stats ).
