Interesting stuff.. good luck with the search for the golden goose.

i have a very firm opinion on the AGS market tho.. I would never go into that market if I think that the match is going to be less than 2.5 goals. Just my thoughts.

Good luck mate!

I posted some of my views on my blog:

It would be good if you could show us an example of how "far off" your odds are, or explain your method(s) of generating odds.

it's my main market too. I find that it offers fairer odds than Asian Handicaps on average (book percentages can be in the 101% level), and is also a pretty stable market (i.e. the goal line hardly moves nearer to kickoffs)... which allows me to hold off from betting early just to get a good price.

I buy the game not to play it, but for the database of players (skill levels for different attributes etc.) as it's quite accurate. crazy huh? haha!

In all honesty, i expect torres to be rested for this weekend's game. He has already started at least 3 matches in a row, so he's due for rafa's rotation soon. My pref for that match (reading v liverpool) would be under 2.5 goals, cos rafa will always rest players (regardless of who starts) as soon ...

I've been wanting to contribute to this for some time but I find it impossible to make any meaningful comments on games. The schedule is such that I need to decide on the games early in the week, and it's extremely time consuming or near impossible to guess if players can recover from injuries from ...

fulham looking good so far.. they just needed to settle. The only way for them to score is probably from a freekick. Got them at AH+2 and AH+3 in-running.

Philbry, thanks for reading. well, you're asking the million dollar question there lol! 1. the value of stats? There's been a lot of work into modeling the game of football over the last 2 decades, and the one thing to bear in mind is that they all look at long term profit. My point being that it's ...

I have no doubt that some people do make a profit and do have a successful long-term system on football, but I doubt they would be willing to share it with the public "free of charge". My personal opinion is that you have to invest a lot of time into research (regardless of sport) if you w...

thanks for leaving a comment Still Running. I would agree that international matches tend to exhibit such behaviour from punters in the 1X2 market, though we should remember that it is the amount of money wagered and not the amount of bets taken on a selection that is the cause of the skewed prices....
