Re: Horse Racing Discussion and Information Weekly Thread - Mon 12th Feb - Sun 18th Jan

Well the Each Way early prices on Western Honour have certainly dried up, prices as low as 6/1 now, I personally don't see the support drying up either. Happy with the early morning price I got, now we just need the horse to follow suit and run well. I'm not too sure...

Re: Horse Racing Discussion and Information Weekly Thread - Mon 12th Feb - Sun 18th Jan

Well my fancy yesterday didn't go as expected, but I do expect the horse to come on for the run having been returning from a break, it may even get dropped a pound or two in the handicap to help its cause. Today sees me liking the chances of the unexposed Western Honour in the 1.55 @ Kelso . Western...

Re: Horse Racing Discussion and Information Weekly Thread - Mon 12th Feb - Sun 18th Jan

Hi Gazza, you're right he is up against it, but he does have some very good form in the book previously and is definitely worth a squeak being the outsider of a small field, how many times do we see the outsider in a 3/4 runner race, come up trumps, quite often it seems to happen. My personal though...

Re: Horse Racing Discussion and Information Weekly Thread - Mon 12th Feb - Sun 18th Jan

Well I must say the forum has changed slightly since the last time I visited, however it is nice to be back. I quite like the chances of Celestial Path 3.50 @ Lingfield today. This horse is not favoured by the weights today, however I do think it has scope to go very close today if the Wind Op has h...

Re: Epsom Derby 2017 - Ante-Post & Discussion

I'm with you here Geordieracer, If they are claiming she is too inexperienced to ride in the race why isn't this in the entry rules, yes she may have only had 69 rides and 1 winners but there is nothing to say that you need 'X' amount of rides and 'X' amount of winners in the race. The owner and tra...

Re: Horse Racing Discussion & Information - Friday 28th April

Iggy, yes the safer option is in running but if this horse jumps off, no way the in running price will be 10/1. I'd say it would be half these odds at the most and I believe that is generous.

Re: Aintree Festival Betting Discussion 6th -8th April 2017

Aintree Day Two Preview Well after a terrible start to the Aintree festival, the only highlight of the day being Bedrock for Dan Skelton placing 3rd, I manged to get the 50’s available in the morning then it returning at 20-1. Nice to see Silviniaco Conti being retired, the horse has served connect...

Bedrock travelled really well there, happy with the place on the early odds I took at 50/1 but coming round the bend for home thought he may of got closer.

Aintree Day 1 Preview Race 1: 1.45, Frodon @ 6/1 Frodon has been placed to good effect this season by trainer Paul Nicholls, having ran 8 times and winning on 6 of those occasions. Frodon missed Cheltenham with the view of going to Aintree, the top two in the market here both went to Cheltenham and...
