Re: St Leger Festival at Doncaster - 13 to 16 September 2017 - Ante Post Selections and Discussions

I have looked at the last 10 years of the Portland Handicap, which is run over 5 furlongs & 143 yards, and looked at the following trends, Age, Weight, Official Rating, Recent Runs, Last Run, Year Runs, Course Form and Distance Age 9 of the last 10 winners were aged 4 or 5. Weight 8 of the last 10 w...

Re: Is the writing on the wall for OLBG....???

I agree with regards to the flat, hurdles & chases competitions. Anybody who finishes top 3 posdibly top 5 in the main horse racing competition is guaranteed to finish in the prizes in 1 of those 3. Or maybe the main horse racing competition is scrapped and leave the 3 others but with extra prizes a...

Re: Is the writing on the wall for OLBG....???

For myself OLBG is a great place to put out my opinions on sport and gambling. I don't post every day probably once a week, sometimes lees. I enjoy horse racing and football so will post on these forums but these take a back seat when NFL is on. The guys who put out blogs every week must put in so ...

Re: Is the writing on the wall for OLBG....???

The Ex is spot on, i will probably get grief but when i was tweeting my blogs and adding OLBG, they never got retweeted. How are we supposed to gain our following when the company we write for dont even help us out. OLBG have been good to me over the years and i appreciate that, but all we seem to s...

If all the bookmakers withdrew then I'm sure there would need to be a major shake up of things.

Re: Is the writing on the wall for OLBG....???

The thing is, every site like this in the world will always have members who contribute nothing whatsoever and will happily take what they can get for nothing. Personally, i have always thought that we don't need them at all and would love to see a ruling introduced where members had to pay a fee to...

Re: Is the writing on the wall for OLBG....???

Apologies worthy, i forgot about BetVictor.

At the end of the day, bookies dont have to offer free bets for our members, and like everything, things have to end at some point

Re: Is the writing on the wall for OLBG....???

No, Skybet are the first firm for quite a while to pull out, there are 26 bookies links you can join through and although Skybet are no longer offering free bets, they will still attract members to join them, of those 26 bookies on OLBG, only 4 offer free bets through the competitions, so there are ...
