The second part of this months blog concentrates on summers jumpers, it was a mixed bag last year but a small overall profit largely due to the one returnee, and we'll start right there.

EVAN WILLIAMS (HURDLERS)

Slightly different from last year where we had all his horses, he provided +£9.00 LSP, however, all his winners were hurdlers and looking back at the stats the majority of his winners and profit has come from his hurdlers.
  • 2014 2/9 22% +£1.10
  • 2015 6/17 35% +£16.13
  • 2016 3/10 30% +£15.00
  • 2017 3/9 33% +£10.25
  • Solid stuff to open the blog and comes into the month with 2 hurdle winners from his last 8 runners at 11/2 and 8/1. More of the same please.

    DAN SKELTON (ALL)

This guy has been the bane of the blog in recent times, he's been cleaning up this summer very often against our runners so I'm going to use the old adage in "keeping our friends close but our enemies closer."
  • 2014 2/16 13% (£7.00)
  • 2015 2/26 8% (£21.92)
  • 2016 6/28 21% +£0.73
  • 2017 14/43 33% +£6.24
  • I know there not the most eye catching figures but we can almost ignore 2104 and 2015 as its really the last couple of years that the stable has took off. With 14 winners last year the profit would be at least double figures and his record in May and June has been fantastic with 47 winners from 168 runners and a +£26 LSP. Slightly risky but a worthwhile in my opinion.

    DR RICHARD NEWLAND(ALL)

No stranger to the blog and no stranger to summer jump winners, comes into the month with form figures that read 13331211.
  • 2014 2/13 15% (£9.40)
  • 2015 6/20 30% +£10.96
  • 2016 7/24 29% (£3.92)
  • 2017 10/23% 43% +£5.54
  • Really solid stuff again and for newcomers to the blog take notice of his Sunday runners, his record on Sundays is brilliant.

    GRAEME McPHERSON(ALL)

His second appearance in the blog did really well when last in. His horses are often gambled so it will pay to take advantage of early BOG prices.
  • 2014 2/8 25% +£10.75
  • 2015 2/7 29% +£12.00
  • 2016 4/16 25% +£34.33
  • 2017 1/9 11% (£9.00)
  • A little disappointing last year but on the strength of previous years results I think we can give him another chance.

    LISA HARRISON (NON BUMPERS)

Last up this month is blog virgin Lisa Harrison, based in Cumbria will give us interest up north, her best figures coming at Ayr.
  • 2014 1/15 7% (£6.00)
  • 2015 2/15 13% (£7.00)
  • 2016 4/15 27% +£32.25
  • 2017 6/19 26% +£4.00
  • Better recent figures which is what we like and amazingly last July 14 of her 19 runners either won or were placed. As always any questions, comments or observations leave in the comments section. Results will be posted in the Turf blog.
