Summer jumping, this month see's the return to the blog of a trainer that first got me interested in this kind of betting, along with him we have the two "big guns" as part of five back from last month and a newbie to the June blog.

NH GB

NICKY HENDERSON (ALL)

The first "Big Gun", back from last year and +£9.00 LSP.

  • 2014 8/21 38% +£ 6.46

  • 2015 0/5 0% (£ 5.00)

  • 2016 6/20 30% +£ 10.85

  • 2017 11/21 52% +£ 3.57

  • We can't argue with that strike rate and we almost trebled the LSP.

    PAUL NICHOLLS (ALL)

The second "Big Gun", we've messed about doing just his chasers in recent years and whilst he gave us a profit last year with his chasers we missed out on 3 winners and +£8.00 LSP.

  • 2014 2/6 33% +£1.00

  • 2015 4/10 40% +£1.58

  • 2016 5/17 29% (£7.44)

  • 2017 7/17 41% +£8.30

  • You can't argue with that strike rate and if last June/July is anything to go by he looks to be trying to get off to a flyer in the trainers championship.

    CHARLIE LONGSDON (ALL)

The Oxon trainer is another blog reg, back from last year where we just got into profit.

  • 2013 6/19 32% +£14.83

  • 2014 2/10 20% +£ 3.25

  • 2015 6/20 30% +£ 1.88

  • 2016 3/11 27% +£18.50

  • 2017 2/10 20% (£2.75)

  • Solid strike rate and we eeked a tiny profit from his two winners so we'll go again.

    JONJO O'NEILL (CHASERS)

Cheltenham trainer who generally seems on the slide since the retirement of AP, however served us well last June with his Chasers.

  • 2013 4/22 18% +£16.45

  • 2014 3/25 12% (£13.10)

  • 2015 2/13 15% +£ 2.50

  • 2016 5/18 28% +£ 1.85

  • 2017 3/21 14% (£ 4.50)

  • Our own figures were +£4.50 with winners at 4's 11's and 15/2, another who is probably in last chance saloon.

    REBECCA CURTIS (ALL)

Welsh trainer, the last of last years gang, does particularly well at Worcester, Stratford, Ffos Las and N Abbott.

  • 2013 1/6 17% +£ 1.00

  • 2014 3/4 75% +£ 8.75

  • 2015 0/0

  • 2016 3/10 30% +£33.25

  • 2017 1/3 33% (£ 0.25)

  • Showed a slight profit on our figures and unlikely to have many runners so little risk involved.

    PETER BOWEN (ALL)

One of the trainers who got me interested in this way of selecting horses, back in the day you could pretty much back all his runners from May till the end of August and guarantee a profit. More competition nowadays but makes a reappearance this month.

  • 2013 16/42 38% +£24.44

  • 2014 7/38 18% (£11.70)

  • 2015 1/21 5% (£17.75)

  • 2016 7/28 25% +£ 1.75

  • 2017 9/26 35% +£21.95

  • Much better in the last two years and has had two winners and a neck second from his last five runners.

    JENNIE CANDLISH (ALL)

Last but not least in the Jumps section a newbie to the NH blog, I think her other appearance was in the flat section.

  • 2014 0/7 0% (£7.00)

  • 2015 1/10 10% (£6.25)

  • 2016 4/9 44% +£10.50

  • 2017 5/15 33% +£25.88

  • As always more credence is placed on the more recent years figures and the last two years have been top notch in terms of both strike rate and LSP.

As always any questions, comments or observations leave in the comments section.
