The last of this months trilogy and while some trainers get turf
serious there are others that are using the AW with plenty of
success. Our AW trainers gave us around +£20.00 LSP last April. We
have a few more to go at this year.

FLAT AW (GB)
JOHN GOSDEN (ALL) Glad I stuck with him last year despite the small loss in 2015. Don't always get value on his runners but almost certain to provide a 25%+ strike rate which always gives you a chance.2010 2/10 20% +£ 0.75
2011 4/14 29% (£ 0.72)
2012 7/17 41% +£ 9.38
2013 3/9 33% +£ 1.50
2014 5/12 42% (£ 2.30)
2015 4/15 27% (£ 4.00)
2016 6/13 46% +£ (0.33)
Our own figures were +£ 2.00 last year. It will also make it less confusing having him in both turf and AW blogs.
RALPH BECKETT (ALL) Another trainer appearing on both sides of the flat blog.
2013 6/18 33% +£26.00
2014 2/11 18% (£ 1.63)
2015 3/13 23% (£ 4.45)
2016 4/10 40% +£ 6.25
Similar to Gosden, cracking strike rate, little risk involved.
HUGO PALMER (ALL) A third double entry, these guys really get there string going early and the results are there for all to see.
2013 0/5 0% (£ 5.00)
2014 1/3 33% +£ 8.00
2015 1/4 25% +£ 3.00
2016 3/13 23% +£ 2.25
We aren't going to have the volume of runners simply because there are fewer meetings as the turf season kicks in.
CHRIS DWYER (ALL) Newmarket trainer back from last April where he was our best performing AW trainer.
2012 1/3 33% +£ 0.25
2013 3/11 27% +£16.50
2014 0/10 0% (£10.00)
2015 5/16 31% +£ 6.98
2016 8/17 47% +£19.48
I overlooked his 2014 figures as he went 6 months without a winner between April and September that year. Nothing like that had happened before or since, glad I did as last years figures were fantastic, our own figures were +£23.
TOM DASCOMBE (ALL) Cheshire trainer, noted for his connection with Micheal Owen.
2013 0/6 0% (£ 6.00)
2014 4/19 21% +£ 7.25
2015 2/13 15% (£ 5.20)
2016 4/17 24% +£24.00
Not the best set of figures ever posted but 4 of 6 runners were placed in 2013 and almost half were placed in 2015.
KEITH DALGLEISH (ALL) Crops up in the blog now and again, more potential with Newcastle now AW and nearest to his base.
2013 0/0
2014 1/8 13% +£ 2.00
2015 2/9 22% +£ 2.50
2016 3/12 25% +£ 5.45
Better figures year on year just what we want to see.
ISMAIL MOHAMMED (ALL) Relatively new trainer who seems to be getting better quality horses.
2013 1/2 50% +£ 0.63
2014 1/4 25% +£ 3.50
2015 0/0
2016 3/9 33% +£17.40
Plenty of potential and can't cause too much damage.
CLIVE COX (ALL) Lambourn trainer who has a really good record with his 3yo's on the AW in general over the last 5 years (21% - +£38LSP). We're on all his horses on the AW this month.
2013 0/4 0% (£ 4.00)
2014 2/3 67% +£ 8.50
2015 2/10 20% +£ 5.00
2016 1/4 20% +£ 4.00
Solid stuff like many of the others not many runners but that's not a bad thing.
JEREMY GASK (ALL) Possible blog virgin, been doing this for so long I'm losing track to be honest.
2013 0/4 0% (£ 4.00)
2014 1/7 14% +£10.00
2015 3/13 23% +£11.00
2016 2/11 18% +£ 1.25
Similar stats with all these AW trainers, lets hope they all continue the trend this year.
ALAN SWINBANK (ALL) Shrewd North Yorkshire trainer, I particularly like betting his bumper horses.
2013 4/7 57% +£ 8.13
2014 1/5 20% (£ 1.25)
2015 1/2 50% +£ 1.75
2016 3/10 30% +£ 9.00
Brilliant strike rate, should add to the coffers.
ALAN KING (ALL) Lets finish with a NH Turf trainer with his flat AW runners.....why not. There is a trend of this happening King, Mullholland, NTD and a couple of others are having more AW runners with some success.
2013 0/0
2014 1/1 100% +£ 2.75
2015 1/5 20% +£ 1.00
2016 1/3 33% +£ 5.00
Nothing too exciting on the face of it but his March figures are 3/7 and +£14.50 so as the NH comes to an end he might be looking to the AW for winners.
It's going to be a busy old month, not sure where I'm going to post the results. As always leave your comments below.
