Waseem Faris was a horse i noted last time out, today it runs in the 4.20 at Notts. Top Beak in the 3.50 at the same track has 3 2nds to its name.

In the first at Nottingham one of the three horses to follow CENTURY DREAM is appearing for the third time and looks to be nibbled at concerning market prices.Robert Havlin is in the plate once more and he rode John Gosden horse Crowned Eagle last time out and hopefully he has confirmed with Simon Crisford that this horse can beat John Gosden charge with the step up to a mile looking to be in Century Dream favour.

With the view of one trick jockeys at Wetherby this afternoon Sue Smith trains SHARP RESPONSE and ridden by Sean Quinlan who could be a significant pointer towards a big run 3.30 novice hurdle race and I have more info on my blog https://www.olbg.com/blogs/post.php?id411710

First of all many thanks to meoldmate and nors for your kind comments yesterday. I did call it a day......but not before leaving a little double on Opt Out and Al Nasser Alwashik. Today I have tipped Sliken Skies 4:55 Nottingham after she showed improved form at Windsor last time and the winner and third have won since. I have also tipped Emerald 3:50 Nottingham he showed his best form at this time last season and his trainer Marco Botti is in flying form. Heres hoping I repeat yesterdays dose and good luck to everyone.

Silken Skies looks interesting and arrives to this race in fairly good form. The one that interest me is Lucky Beggar who use to be trained by Charlie Hills and his mark has dropped considerably and a drop in class could be a significant move for a big run he will have to show something of his best form to win this as he has been under achieving for sometime. This is his first try in a class four handicap could be interesting at 8/1.

Silken Skies is mentioned on the 1TJ blog today.

CENTURY DREAM does the blog a tremendous boost by wining in good style and at a big price of 9/1, which I was taken back with, as I thought he was only 8/1 at best. A very good start to the day, long may it continue.

Pensax Lad the only mount of Robert Winston and he won on this last time when in the plate and could get a good tune out of him today
Oct 12th, 2016 at 02:07
Paul Hanagan has the one mount at Nottingham today and then heads off to Kempton for several rides, he is riding for his retaining owner for John Gosden and MUBHIRAH could be of some interest on her racecourse debut. She is drifting in the market, possibly due to the ground changing and bookies along with punters are not sure

An exciting novice chase to watch with four runners ACTINPIECES may make the stone work in his favour he is getting from BALLYBOLLEY
Oct 12th, 2016 at 02:54
I should said her and not him about Actinpieces.
Oct 12th, 2016 at 03:02
Shame about Actinpieces fell at the last, as she would of played apart in the finish, may not of won but would of been pressing.

meoldmate have you noticed that the 1TJs that have ridden at least a couple of winners at a good strike rate min 20 during the past fortnight have had a field day at Wetherby today with wins for Daryl Jacob Sean Quinlan and Nick Schofield plus Jamie Codd at Punchestown - definitely a filter that I will be following/analysing over the next few weeks.
Oct 12th, 2016 at 08:00
I did not take in the Irish racing but with Daryl Jacob and Nick Schofield I did not follow as agreeing with nors with so many ITJs selections have to sift through.Sean Quinlan reason on the blog page and what I thought positive reasoning for a big run.

A pleasure Thambo, great to see someone had a victory along with my good self. Will be getting the old head into the form book again tomorrow and see what we can find but the other two that I am following are not running.
