 By davidg3907 in Exchange Betting

4 June 2015 20:38

LAYING. Delving deeper into the dark art. I have run a series of blogs on the subject of laying. Maybe now is the time to dig a bit deeper into the complexities of the subject and perhaps explode a few myths along the way. It is recommended that you are at least familiar with laying first but it is not essential. If you are a relative beginner, this blog may however see you out of your comfort zone.... more

Wednesday 7th January Top Tips

 By Thedog1983 in Exchange Betting

7 January 2015 10:04

Wednesday 7th Jan betting blog! Well, bit of a disaster yesterday! Some times happens when you're betting on cup matches. Juventus and West Ham really let me down. I fancied both sides strongly and arguably both were unlucky to draw, with West Ham conceding a last gasp equaliser and Juventus conceding an equaliser by Inters only shot on target! But today I'm not going mad on football as it's reasonably slim pickings, so we'll be looking elsewhere for some value.... more

Laying - Taking It Further

 By davidg3907 in Exchange Betting

5 August 2014 21:29

Taking laying to the next level It is now more than a year since I ran a series of blogs with the intention of helping those who may be thinking of starting out on that path. When time permitted, along with a few others, I occasionally suggested potential ‘ value ‘ lays on the daily forum. These were, and will continue to be primarily during the NH season.... more

Why Favourites Chelsea Will Not Win The Premiership

 By nors in Exchange Betting

4 August 2014 21:16

Chelsea are 15/8 favourites for the 2014 Premiership and this price in my opinion has more to do with their charismatic publicity seeking manager than their actually chance of winning their first title since 2009. Mourinho has stated that this season they will be challenging for the Premiership as opposed to last season’s pronouncement that they were only playing for a Champions League spot.... more

Betfair Laying: How Many Horses Can Win?

 By nors in Exchange Betting

22 November 2013 15:32

On this blog I am looking at form based Lay/Trades just before the off. There are plenty of opportunities overnight for longer term trades but this blog is just concentrating on the live market 15 or so minutes before the race starts. I am not solely trading on the figures, some do trade the figures but I believe the more information you have on a subject the more likely you are to win.... more

Betting Bots - Part 2

 By davidg3907 in Exchange Betting

21 July 2013 22:19

The case for a trading bot with possible in play option. There are actually two separate comparisons here. One is against a standard bot ( i. e. no in-play facility ) and the other is against doing it all manually on Betfair. HELP PLEASE Whilst having a working knowledge of trading , I am relatively inexperienced when using a trading bot as I have done the vast majority of trading manually in the past.... more

Man Utd - Trading The Premiership Champions

 By nors in Exchange Betting

25 June 2013 18:48

The end of an era at Old Trafford with Sir Alex Ferguson hanging up his hairdryer and passing the straighteners and post match corkscrew to David Moyes. Fergie has been a permanent fixture at the Theatre of Dreams for 23 years and whenever a manager who has become a permanent fixture moves on in whatever walk of life the dynamic changes.... more

Do You Or I Need A BOT ?

 By davidg3907 in Exchange Betting

8 June 2013 22:52

Is using a BOT likely to help me? IMPORTANT:- This is not a promotion of any specific product, even should that product be recognisable by the description. The purpose of this blog is to highlight what one may, or should, expect a bot to do. The first task is to establish what you require from the bot and which ( if any ) bot can perform such operations.... more
