My local trainer Pam Sly has quite a small string on both codes but when they also run locally its always worth noting, her 4yo gelding was quite mediocre last year on the flat and now runs over hurdles, he's only had 5 runs over the obstacles but slowly getting hang of the game, he runs up with the pace and looks sure to go close today ... on his penultimate visit here he came 6th after fading late then was quickly dropped in grade to class 5 , he then followed up with a 4th place effort at Market Rasen where he again faded during final 2f , today he's down 2lb in the weights and back to Southwell and will be bang there in the home straight, just hope he holds on today and a solid each-way proposition at very least with stable favoured jockey Paul O'Brien doing the steering.
