The 6-year-old won three in a row on the AW this spring. He was a respectable 5th of 12 back on turf four weeks ago, drawn widest and not in a great track position, but it was a much stronger handicap than the race he now runs in. Good jockey Rossa Ryan returns to the saddle, and he posted three career-high RPR ratings on this horse last summer. He was rated 9 lb higher at one point.

Following seven consecutive races on the all-weather, Arantes Nascimento equipped himself well when returning to turf at Newmarket, where he finished second. That race was over today's distance of six furlongs. He didn't have the best of starts and did well to finish just over two lengths behind the winner. He gets to race off the same mark on his first visit to Salisbury. Kieran Fox is once again the jockey in the saddle. Racing off the same mark in a lower-grade race than last time could help Arantes Nascimento go one better if he gets a better start.

All four wins have come on the all-weather, but he has placed in two of eight starts on turf. He arrives on the back of a second-place finish at Lingfield, and a repeat of that effort would give an each-way chance.
