Stepped back up in trip today with ground conditions to suit, he has every chance of repeating his form from that August win, and that should be enough to see him there at the finish.

Braganza Bay is a proven course specialist with a perfect record over this track and trip, having won this race last year with grit and determination. He's well treated off 96, returns fresh, and thrives on soft ground. Back at his ideal venue, he's a major player if tuned up.

Unexposed 5yo mare, just three starts over hurdles. Runner-up in a maiden hurdle when last seen, behind a capable type. Improvement is very possible after seven months off the track. Good jockey in the saddle, low 81 handicap mark and the step up in trip should be a positive move.

Bobalot represents Laura Horsfall's stable. He has three wins to his name. He is starting today after a break, but let's remember his successful starts in similar circumstances. Starting fresh, he won the race at Chepstow on 26 October 2022, won at Fontwell on 28 January 2024, and finished second at Chepstow on 9 May 2025.
