Has only won twice and can be inconsistent, but arrives having finished 2nd over this course and distance last time. Likely to be there or thereabouts.

Won twice in a row last season, including over this course and distance in July. Put in solid efforts under a young rider at Hamilton last month and is likely to be competitive again before long.

The 4-year-old filly hasn't done a lot wrong in her last two races, and a new reduced mark should give her a chance. The first three in her previous race have all run well since. The runner-up has won back-to-back races. I like the fact that her highest RPR rating last year did come on slow ground.

Winner at Beverley on penultimate start last season who has shown steady improvement so far this term and did well to be 3rd over inadequate trip last time. This trip far more suitable and has slipped to that last winning mark so should run very well this evening.

Won at Newcastle in February last year and has placed in 2 of 3 races since. Not seen since April last year but has had a wind op and holds an each-way chance at least, returning on the same form.
