Koliath de Couely is a 5-year-old son of Goliath du Berlais out of Kolivana, from the family of Kobrouk by Saint des Saints. Lto on her racecourse debut, she was a short-head second at 10/1 behind Marvel Delablairie, 12/1, in a 2m2f hurdle at Le Lion-d'Angers last June. He makes his Irish debut here in this 2m1f maiden hurdle, where he'll be ridden by J. Shinnick for W. P. Mullins. I think he can open his account here.

She has been in decent form without winning over hurdles, placing in three of her five starts, with the best of those coming last time out when second at this track. She can improve again here.

Previously trained in the UK where placed in 1 of 3 starts on the flat. Had not been seen since May 2024 when making Irish/stable/hurdles debut last month, finishing 8th of 15. Likely to build on that and holds an each-way chance.
