There's been some movement in the market for Declaree. She won at her third attempt after being eighth and second. The win came over seven furlongs on soft ground at Gowran Park, with Ben Coen making all on her. Declaree has five pounds more here and an extra furlong to cover. Being by Fastnet, who was a top-class sprinter, but his sire Danehill was seen at his best over seven furlongs and a mile. Likewise with Declaree's dam sire Iceman. Having a pedigree of this nature, she could be making it two wins on the trot and possibly from the front.

Spicy Margarita steps into a handicap after contesting some pretty hot races. She will have a much better chance with the A. Murray stable in fine form, and Sam Coen claiming 7lb will surely help.

Dagoda is set to run coming off a solid mid-field effort when fifth of 23 over 6f at the Curragh on June 4th - a performance that shows she remains competitive at this venue. She is a regular and well-handicapped performer who, despite her age, brings experience to today's mile handicap. Her best form has come on softer ground, and the switch back to a mile over a stiff course suits her profile. Trainer Miss Jennifer Anne Lynch continues to get the most out of her, and with R C Colgan back in the saddle, she should track the pace nicely from a mid-range draw. If the expected stronger gallop unfolds, Dagoda looks primed to run well. She represents a credible betting angle at healthy odds.

Presence is a 4yo filly trained by Mrs. John Harrington. She is a CD winner over today's good ground under today's jockey Keithan Kennedy off a mark of 72 (2lb claim). She then followed up that debut win with a 2.75l 4/16 in a Listed race at Naas, posting a personal best RPR of 87. She was slammed, perhaps unfairly, by the Irish handicapper and raised from a handicap mark of 83-92 and has struggled somewhat since. However, the handicapper is relenting, and today Presence takes her chance off a mark of 76 with Keithan Kennedy taking off a valuable 5lb. She didn't go unfancied on her last start, 11-1 into 8-1, but again finished down the pack, eased by Shane Foley when the chance had gone. Mrs. John Harrington resorts to first-time blinkers, and given the current mark and market interest in the last start, and back at the scene of her only victory in new headgear, Presence could make her presence felt in these suitable conditions.

Gloriously Glam has placed twice at this track and once over this trip, and despite a below-par run last time, she remains of interest with a top 5lb-claiming jockey booked. If allowed to dictate or race prominently, she could bounce back to form.
