Deauville Racecourse Guide
The Deauville Racecourse, also known as the 'Hippodrome Deauville-La Touques' is located in the Normandy region of France.
This is a major part of France for horse racing, the area around Deauville is home to numerous stud farms and is the main breeding area of France.
Deauville hosts flat racing on both turf and all-weather. The turf track features a chute that enables one-mile races to be run over a straight mile.
Both tracks are right-handed with the all-weather course on the inside of the turf track being oval. There is roughly a two-and-a-half furlong straight after the final turn.
