BetBright are a forward-thinking company who have declared that it is their intention to keep improving their product with a view to significantly increasing their market share in the near future. BetBright are heavily involved in racing sponsorship and over the last year few years they have tried to make their racing offers particularly attractive, especially at the Cheltenham Festival.

Some of our older reviews of BetBright mention a possible issue with gaps in some sports markets at times but more recent users suggest that the company have solved this issue and that BetBright are highly competitive with their markets especially for horse racing and football.

"Great site and Acca Offer"

Reviewed: February 2015
by Ryansm

Bear in mind I only bet on football, cricket and snooker so I have no experience of the racing side. I joined Bet Bright a few months ago and have used them almost every weekend. Their site is easy to navigate, has all the popular football bet types and the odds are very competitive. Just as important for me is the range of non league markets - maybe influenced by their ongoing support of minor non league football. At the time I signed up, as well as getting the no conditions free bet refunded in cash they were also donating £30 to a non league club of my choice. The acca insurance is second to none - one loser on 5 or more team accas results in a free bet refund. If there are 2 losers then you still get a 50% refund as a free bet. The only condition is each selection must be at least 1.5, so no backing Chelsea at home to Burnley if you want a chance of the acca insurance! One tip if using them for accumulators - ensure your mobile notifications are turned off as if they're on you get a text message for each leg of the accumulator, so if they all finish at the same time your phone goes into meltdown! Very impressed so far.

"Good site to use"

Joined BetBright a while back after a friend recommended them. Mobile site is really easy to use, and they offer really competitive odds especially on football. Were great for Cheltenham last year with offers for new and existing customers, and expect to see more of the same this year. A must have bookie for the festival and beyond

"Good first impression"

PROS -Decent sign up offer of £30 risk free bet. Bet returned as cash, so truly is risk free. Repayment of my original stake was very fast. -Immediately liked the look of the site. Also very easy to use and navigate your way around to the various pages. -Very impressed with the customer service. Live chat easy to access, and I could speak with an advisor immediately upon entering it, responses from said advisor were prompt and detailed and accurate. Had problems with live chat in the past with other bookies, be it with long waiting times, incorrect answers or it not functioning at all. As such, big thumbs up from me. -Like the look of their 5+ football accumulator offer - 100% of stake returned if one pick loses, 50% returned if 2 lose. CONS -Seem to be lacking in markets for some sports. This was particularly prevalent in Rugby Union a sport I often bet on. -Could do with more promotional offers, would both attract more new customers and add more interest for current customers. -Had to provide mobile number to register. I prefer to keep my number more private to avoid clutter in my inbox. -Only accept card payments for deposits currently. I often use PayPal for added convenience and security. Overall a good first impression made. Would use it again, certainly for the accumulator on my weekly football picks. Would like to see a wider range of markets on more niche sports I.e Rugby Union, Cricket. However, would definitely recommend it to others.

"Good offer and efficient site"

Like others I sign up for new accounts based upon opening account offers and the £30 risk free bet offer at BetBright is a good incentive. I tend to bet on golf and there are a good range of markets, including some novel ones related to a player's finishing position in the tournament 1-10th, 11-20th or lower. The biggest weakness from a golf betting perspective is the lack of events to bet on. They cover standard European Tour and PGA Tour events but nothing on the Australian, LPGA or Champions Tour. If they expand the range of events, I would be tempted to make them a regular part of my betting plans.

Deposited and got a risk free bet up to my original stake. My stake was returned promptly to my account. The customer services were very helpful which is a big plus. Good prices and they also offer best odds guaranteed which is mostly why I use bookmakers these days.I'll give them 4 stars

"OK but nothing special"

They seem like a reasonable bookie. Their sign-up offer is OK your first bet is refunded if it loses, but it’s not as great as some of the other bookies offering multiple bet bundles that you can get nowadays. Their website is good it’s smooth and easy to use. It is simple to find your bets and doesn’t appear convoluted. Some of their markets are missing though: their selection of rugby bets needs improving and I struggled to find some in-play golf markets. They also appear to be really lazy putting up some of the less mainstream markets. I like their layout for horse races and they offer BOG which is essential these days. Monitoring their odds, they seem to be fairly competitive, although some of their other offers pale in comparison to the big guns, i.e. Betfair, Paddypower and Bet365. However, they seem a solid bookie and I’d be happy to bet with them in the future if they go a stand-out price. That said, like many other ‘new’ bookies they haven’t developed a particular niche, nor do they offer any eye-catching promotions. I think these bookies need to do more if they want to break into the saturated betting market. Overall impression: decent but no wow factor 3 out of 5.

Betbright has come a long way. With involvement in sponsorship of horse racing meetings, the name betbright is getting out their in a competative field. Not quite there to be a big player as of yet with lack of certain sports compared to other sites however a good promising platform and 2015 could be a big year.
