Main reason i use William Hill is for the meeting aggregate distance and favourite markets, these usually top other book makers. They have a sound set of special markets and most sports are covered. Few things I don't like are on the main horse racing page it gives you the next 3 races yet this includes foreign races such as Arlington, i'd much prefer to have a UK only option as its sometimes hard to keep track. The football markets are generally good better in play options would be better but all in all a solid sound bookmaker.

Not bad
If football is your bag then William Hill probably offer the best prices and their website is pretty easy to navigate around. Minor sports like American Football seem to suffer though and not every match is priced up. My only problem was in the summer where they took ages to play out on Sri Lanka winning their world cup 20/20 group. Three online chats later and after being told it hadn't been decided, I finally got my money. All in all, I like their website which makes it quick and easy and with so much competition out there it makes a lot of difference. I also found their free bet offer rewarding and simple which can not be said for some other firms.

in play football prone to fault
had a bet in play my bet went green which means bet excepted my account was debited accordingly but next day was suprised to see my account had the stake returned into my accoun when i phoned and asked what was going on i was told that my bet was not excepted because of price change online punters will know if the bet is not excepted it will straight away go RED which did not happen i have now closed the acount & william will not another penny from me

William Hill getting better
i for years considered william hill below ladbroeks and in my list of hated bookies, this changed once they relaunched their site amd brought in more competitive pricing.
I deposited and found them easy enough to deal with and pretty quick. On major markets they have some good prices, and they have also had some stand out prices at times which i have taken up, recommeded for casual punter looking for bit value in premiership prices and like.
Their in running lets them down bit, and depending on your markets navigating can be tricky, and bets from odds comparisions sites dont load to betting slip which is pity.
Horse racing wise their average not takin much risk on prices.
