"Albert Montanes is the top seed here and has only lost 1 set so far this week, that was the 2nd set in his semi final but he bounced back to win the decider 6-0
Gael Monfils has also only lost 1 set, that was in his first match, he has since won all 3 matches in straight sets.
Montanes might not win the match but he does get a very handy 3.5 start on the handicap "
"Bayern Munich are rightly the favourites for victory especially after they overcame Barcelona so easily in their semi final.
On occasions you can see that a team is destined to win the trophy after a few rubs of the green, it has already happened to Dortmund in this seasons competition.
They were down and out against Malaga but scored 2 goals in injury time to get through then in the semi finals they led 4-1 from the 1st leg and Real Madrid pulled 2 goals back and should have scored a 3rd but luck was against them "
"Paul Lawrie has twice finished 2nd in this event, he finished 2nd last year and also back in 1996, he also finished 6th in 2010.
He has played in 7 events on the European Tour this year and has only missed 1 cut, he finished 14th in the China Open at the beginning of May.
If he can come here with the same mind set as last year then he can go very well and grab another high finish

"Ernie Els hasn't set the world alight this year but has been pretty consistent on the US Tour, he has played 9 events on the US tour and has missed 3 cuts, has 3 top 20 finishes and 3 outside the top 20 finishes.
His last 5 events read, missed cut, 13th, missed cut, 15th, missed cut, so on the basis of that he is set for another top 20 placing.
He has a decent record here at Wentworth with 3 top 10 finishes in the last 10 years including a 7th place last year.
His only missed cut was in 2008 and he can have another good week here this year "
"Kevin Streelman seemed to struggle at the start of the year, he missed the cut in 2 of his first 7 events and only had 1 top 10 finish but his season has changed with 1 tournament.
He won the Tampa Bay in March despite starting with a 73, finishing on 10 under par.
His last 3 events, RBC Heritage, Wells Fargo & the Players have seen him finish 3rd, 6th & 2nd.
He had a week off last week and can grab yet another top 5 place here after his rest "

"Marc Leishman is another player who started the year in poor form, he missed 4 cuts in his first 9 events and only had 1 top 10 finish, but his tied 4th place in the Masters has changed his season round.
The 3 events he has played since the Masters, RBC Heritage, The Players and The Byron Nelson have seen him finish 9th, 8th & 12th.
4 top finishes in 4 good events can give him the confidence coming here, he finished 3rd in the Byron Nelson last year then struggled here but his 1st win came shortly afterwards.
Hopefully he can play well enough this week to grab his first win of the year here "
"Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova is only 21 years old and is seeded to be in the opposite half to number 1 seed Serena Williams.
She is only 21 years old and getting better every year, she has already won on the Clay this year when she won in Portugal beating Elena Vesnina & Carla Suarez Navarro en route to victory.
Hopefully she can start well and gain some confidence in the early rounds "
