"This may be a leap of faith to say that Djok, Fed and Murray will play as poorly this week as they did last, but if they do there has to be value in the price of Stan Wawrinka. He id quoted at 80/1, but has reached the final of the last 2 events winning one and losing to Nadal in the final of the other.
He deserves to be shorter as he beat Ferrer in the final 2 weeks back and beat both Tsonga and Berdych last week. All three of these players are quoted at 33/1. You do the math. "

"Highly speculative selection, but Monaco is on form and is at home on the slow clay court surface used for this event. Admittedly all the big guns are out in force, but he is seeded with Murray, Federer and del Potro the main dangers in his half and their form is very questionable on clay at the moment. He has the game to trouble them all. The more likely contenders are all on the opposite side with the likes of last weeks winner Nadal, Djokovic and the in form Wawrinka and Berdych all looking to beat each other. Monaco has the game to beat the latter two and He took a set off Djokovic in Monte Carlo a couple of weeks back. The Serb still has injury concerns about his ankle which leaves Nadal who has played a lot of tennis lately.
To me Monaco is overpriced and not without a shout. "

"Barney is better than these odds suggest, but the fact remains that he has only ever beaten Taylor a couple of times. He has major psychological issues when taking on the power and he proved that when having him as good as beat earlier in this campaign before letting Phil snatch a draw.
Taylor wont make any such mistakes here and should cruise through to the final. "

"Van Gerwen is very short here against a class opponent, but he should justify the odds. He has phenomenal scoring power and his finishing is improving all the time. He should outgun Wade here with relative ease. "

"Tickled Pink looks a classy animal and has more than enough ability to take this. He has already demolished last years winner of this race Tiddliwinks and looks very overpriced. Obviously there are other classy opposition headed by Mince, but Tickled Pink looks sure to hit the frame. "

"Toto Skyllachy arrives in good form and is certainly the one to beat. He was a very impressive winner here last week and has 3 course and distance wins to his name all together which makes him somewhat of a course specialist. "

"Ingleby Symphony is rightful favourite here and should score. He is in good form and has two career wins on good and heavy. The extra furlong or so wont be a problem and he was a very good third in a class 3 event last time which should see him comfortably outclass these class 5 opponents. "

"Chosen one looks the best horse in the race. He is an 11 time winner which includes his last 3. Conditions should suit well and despite only 1 of those wins coming at this track i don't see a problem as he has been ideally drawn in stall number 1. "

However Wigan need the points as they battle relegation and will be buoyed by their shock FA Cup success. They can get a point here against an arsenal side who have less than impressed in the last month. "

"Montiridge has had an excellent career to date and providing he retains his ability for this seasonal reappearance he is the one to beat. He was second in a group 3 last time which stands him in good stead here and he knows how to win with two successes previous to that run. "

"Brighton were the form team heading into the playoffs and are excellent at home. Palace have been inconsistent for a couple of months and really should have pushed on for automatic promotion. I cant see them getting anything here especially having failed to get a win at home. "

"Monaco looks to be coming back to top form and has conditions in his favour back on a slow clay court surface. Paire is a decent enough first round opponent, but is better on a faster surface and the Argentinean should progress with relative ease. "
