Wayne Rooney is favourite to be England's top goalscorer in the World Cup 2010 qualifying campaign.
The Manchester United striker recovered from an ankle injury to score in his side's 2-0 victory at Blackburn on Saturday.
And his odds to bag the most goals in qualifying have come in with Totesport, now at 2/1.
Theo Walcott is second favourite at 9/4, having scored a hat trick in England's last game - a 4-1 win away to Croatia.
But the odds of Michael Owen scoring the most goals are at 16/1 after the Newcastle striker was left out of Fabio Capello's squad for the upcoming games against Kazakhstan and Belarus.
Following the announcement William Hill offered odds of 1/8 that he will start two or fewer of England's World Cup 2010 qualifying games.
Capello's side are 1/3 favourites to top group six with Betfred, although punters can get 9/20 with Sportingbet and 5/11 with Canbet.
Wales, meanwhile, are currently third in group four and offered at 10/1 by SkyBet to qualify, while Bet365 offers 1/16 that they will not.
