Perry Expects Tough Time At US PGA Championship

This week's US PGA Championship will not be easy, according to 12th favourite Kenny Perry (45/1, Totesport).
The Kentuckian suggested to the Detroit News that he is not enamoured with recent course modifications at the Oakland Hills Country Club, claiming that "it's going to be quite a test".
"All the bunkering is in our landing zone," he remarked, adding that the ninth hole in particular will be difficult due to it being a 257-yard par three.
Perry is arguably in the best form of his life at the moment, having won three PGA Tour titles since spring.
However, a lot of money is going elsewhere at the bookies, with Lee Westwood (25/1, Paddy Power) among those backed in yesterday.
William Hill claimed the Englishman was the focus of the majority of Monday's wagers, forcing the firm to cut the odds on him winning from 25/1 to 20/1.
"Westwood has been by far the best backed player all day with over 60 per cent of today's bets for Lee," said spokesman Rupert Adams last night.
Phil Mickelson is the current favourite at 10/1 with Stan James.
