Queally Recovers In Time For Coral Eclipse
Thursday 03 July 2008 at 08:55
Tom Queally will be able to ride Henry Cecil's Multidimensional in the Coral Eclipse at Sandown this weekend.
The jockey told the Press Association (PA) that he has recovered from his heavy fall at Lingfield and is expecting to be back in the saddle later today.
"I'm sore and a bit swollen but just about OK," he remarked. "It was quite a bad fall but hopefully I'll be back on Thursday."
Multidimensional is among the favourites to win the Coral Eclipse, but his price has drifted out at some bookmakers over the last few days and punters are now able to get odds of 7/1 on the horse at Sportingbet.
Stablemate Phoenix Tower, who will be ridden by Ted Durcan on Saturday, is 7/2 to Triumph at Boylesports, making him joint-favourite with Aidan O'Brien's Mount Nelson.
Queally has ridden Phoenix to victory before and told the PA that Henry Cecil has two great chances of victory in the race "as long as we get a bit of luck".
Pipedreamer is the third favourite at Sportingbet and is priced at 5/1.
