Warnock Concentrating On His Own Team
Friday 25 April 2008 at 11:46
Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock has insisted he is only interested in his own team as the promotion race reaches its penultimate weekend.
Both Hull City and Palace harbour promotion ambitions before their meeting at the KC Stadium on Saturday.
The visitors are looking to hold on to the final play-off place and are 9/5 with Paddy Power to be heading back to London with all three points.
Warnock told the Sheffield Star: "We are not going to give up our play-off position lightly. If Hull beat us then it is because they are the better team on the day.
"The only thing I am concentrating on is my own players, nothing else."
With two games left Palace are only two points ahead of Wolves but face a tricky game away at automatic promotion chasing Hull City.
Hull dropped out of the top two last weekend after a 2-0 defeat to Sheffield United and hope to have central defender Wayne Brown back in the starting line-up on Saturday.
The Tigers are 11/10 with Stan James for victory to keep them in the race for automatic promotion with only one more game to go after this weekend.
