Hu Jia The Hot Favourite To Win Nobel Peace Prize

 The Nobel Peace Prize will be awarded this Friday on the 10th of October and there is a hot favourite to scoop the prize.
Hu Jia Expected To Win Award
The favourite to win the Nobel Peace Prize is Hu Jia who is 7/4 with Paddy Power. Hu Jia is an activist in the People's Republic of China and has been involved campaigns to save the Tibetan Antelope that has been slaughtered for its fur. He has also worked hard in AIDS prevention work and the bookies clearly see him as the one to beat.
Vietnamese Buddhist Monk Second Favourite
Thich Quang Do, a Vietnamese Buddhist monk, is the 4/1 second favourite with Paddy Power. He has campaigned for democracy in Vietnam and in January of this year European magazine ‘A Different View' named him one of the 15 Champions of World Democracy. Nelson Mandela and Lech Walesa were other names amongst the other 15.
Bob Geldof and Bono Amongst Other Candidates
Other names in contention are Lidia Yusupova who is 6/1 with Paddy Power, Bob Geldof who is 33/1 and U2 singer Bono who is 50/1 with Paddy Power.
