Lewis Hamilton Still F1 Drivers Championship Favourite Despite Massa Incident In Japan
Monday 13 October 2008 at 10:42
Lewis Hamilton still dominates the F1 Drivers Championship betting odds despite having his lead cut by Ferrari driver Felipe Massa, who was involved in a controversial incident with Hamilton.
Hamilton Points Finger At Massa But He Is Still Favourite
Hamilton has accused Massa of deliberately running in to him as Hamilton tried to pass him on the second lap. Massa received a drive through penalty but was still able to cut Hamilton's lead to five points. Hamilton is now 4/11 with Sportingbet whilst Massa is 3/1 with Coral. Robert Kubica still has a mathematical chance of winning the Drivers Championship but he is 25/1 with Totesport.
Ferrari Should Pick Up Constructors Prize
Ferrari have built up a healthy lead in the Formula 1 Constructors Championship and are just 2/7 with Bet365 to win it. Last year's winner McLaren are 5/2 with Bet365 and Stan James but have had to rely pretty much solely on Lewis Hamilton this year after Alonso left the team last year.
