Credit Crunch Solution Results In Money For Barrack Obama In US President Betting
Tuesday 14 October 2008 at 12:04
The recent bank bail outs and plans to stabilise the US economy appear to have strengthened Barrack Obama's position as favourite to become the next US President. With elections drawing closer and closer it seems only a miracle can stop Obama becoming the next US President.
Barrack Obama Looks Certainty For White House
Having been around the 1/2 mark with bookies months ago, Barrack Obama is now just 2/9 with Coral and shorter with other bookies to become the next US President. Republican candidate John McCain is out to 5/1 with Paddy Power as a result of the support for Obama. Ladbrokes are offering 8/11 that the turnout for the election is 60% or over whilst under 60% is evens.
UK Economy Improvements Help Brown Popularity
The improvements in the UK economy also seem to have had a positive effect on Gordon Brown's chances of leading the Labour party into the next General Election. Brown had recently been 11/10 to lead the Labour party at the next General Election with William Hill but they now make him just a 2/5 shot. The Conservatives are still hot favourites to win the next General Election at 1/4 with Ladbrokes and Blue Square with Labour 3/1 shots with Coral.
