A rejuvenated Spurs welcome Liverpool to White Hart Lane and they are 11/4 with Coral and Paddy Power to pick up all three points. A draw is 5/2 with Totesport and VC Bet whilst an away win is 11/10 with Bet365 and SkyBet.
Tottenham Team News
Ledley King was unable to play against Arsenal during the week but could be back in contention for a starting role if his troublesome knee is ok, a late decision will be made on the Spurs skipper. Jermaine Jenas has picked up a slight toe injury but should be ok to play but Michael Dawson, red carded against Stoke City, is still suspended.
Liverpool Team News
Robbie Keane has recovered sufficiently from a groin injury to be declared fit and should line up against his old club on Saturday evening. Fernando Torres has been out with a hamstring injury and he is unlikely to be risked against Spurs having trained only lightly in the week gone by.
Tottenham v Liverpool Betting Odds
Liverpool have not been playing brilliantly in recent weeks but they have been getting results. Without Torres they may struggle slightly and the best bet may be the draw at 5/2 with Totesport or Vc Bet.
Tottenham's main weakness at the moment is their goalkeeper but Liverpool don't really have a tall striker to get on the end of crosses. Their most likely goalscorer could be a central defender and Jamie Carragher, who very rarely scores, could get on the scoresheet at massive odds of 50/1 with Paddy Power and Blue Square. Daniel Agger is also interesting at 28/1 with SkyBet and Paddy Power. For Spurs, Darren Bent always seems to score and he is 8/1 with VC Bet to score first, 11/4 with William Hill anytime whilst Jermaine Jenas is 18/1 with Paddy Power to score first and 7/1 with Paddy Power to score anytime.
In the correct score market the most appealing bet is 1-1 at 6/1 with Blue Square and Boylesports. Those backing Liverpool will probably look at 1-0 or 2-0 at 7/1 with Ladbrokes and 9/1 respectively whilst the best Spurs might hope for is a 2-1 win at 12/1 with SkyBet and Stan James.
