Roberto Mancini Next QPR Manager Odds Drift As David O'Leary Becomes Contender
Friday 07 November 2008 at 11:30
David O'Leary has been backed to be the Next QPR Manager leaving question marks over Roberto Mancini's possible move to QPR. Mancini had looked a certainty to be appointed when he became an odds on shot for the job this week but this latest development has to cast some doubt over it.
O'Leary Money Could be Significant
David O'Leary has been backed from 40/1 into 8/1 with SkyBet over the last week and with next manager betting markets there is not normally smoke without fire. The ex Leeds manager must be in the thinking of the clubs owners and any further market moves would only increase that suspicion.
Mancini Still The Hot Favourite For QPR Job
Roberto Mancini is out to even money with SkyBet from 4/7 and at the odds he still looks the most likely candidate to get the job. He has been favourite for weeks now and the slight drift in his odds might just mean there has been a slight hitch in negotiations between the parties.
Ferguson, Allardyce And Vialli All On The Drift
Darren Ferguson, currently managing Peterborough, is still in the frame but is out to 6/1 with SkyBet whilst Sam Allardyce and Gianluca Vialli are also on the drift and out to 12/1 with SkyBet and 16/1 with SkyBet respectively.
