Ricky Sbragia Soon To Be Favourite In Next Sunderland Manager Odds
Monday 15 December 2008 at 15:51
Sunderland caretaker boss, Ricky Sbragia, could soon be favourite in the Next Sunderland Manager betting following an impressive 4-0 win against West Brom. Sunderland put in their best performance of recent months in the easy win and it seems it is being attributed to the influence of Sbragia.
Sbragia Favourite With One Bookie
Ricky Sbragia is now as short as 5/2 with Ladbrokes to be the Next Sunderland Manager and they make him favourite to land the job. The best price Sbragia can be backed at is 5/1 with Paddy Power and Blue Square. With the Sunderland board set to give Sbragia more time in charge it could be a good bet at the current 5/1.
Allardyce Favourite For Two Managerial Positions
Sam Allardyce is still the favourite with most bookies and he can be backed at 7/2 with Ladbrokes to succeed Roy Keane. Allardyce is also now the favourite for the Blackburn job as well, before Paul Ince even gets sacked! SkyBet are offering 3/1 that Big Sam gets the job at Ewood Park.
Where The Money Isn't Going
Avram Grant had been very well backed at the end of last week but over the weekend the support seems to have dried up and he can now be backed at 10/1 with Bet365 and Coral. Other managers on the drift are Alan Curbishley who is out to 10/1 with Paddy Power and Ally McCoist who is out to 20/1 with Paddy Power.
Where The Money Is Going
Gordon Strachan and Roberto Mancini have been the big priced market movers over the last few days. Strachan is now 20/1 with SkyBet and Coral whilst Roberto Mancini, who has been strongly lined with the job in today's papers, is now 25/1 with SkyBet, Coral and Ladbrokes.
