 Austin Powers star Verne Troyer and ex Arsenal footballer Ian Wright are the favourites in the Big Brother 2009 betting – before the contestants have even been announced!
Actor And Footballer Are Favourites To Win
The odds are based on speculation about who will be entering the celeb version of Big Brother, which wasn't on our screens in 2008 due to the race controversy the year before. Verne Troyer, who played Mini Me in Austin Powers is the favourite at 6/1 with Paddy Power whilst Ian Wright, who presents Gladiators these days, is the second favourite at 8/1 with Paddy Power.
American Rapper Coolio Linked With Appearance
Shorter prices and market moves are a good sign that a celeb is being lined up to appear in Celebrity Big Brother 2009 and there have been quite a few market movers over the last month. Mark Lamarr is now 9/1 with Paddy Power and American rapper Coolio has been added to the betting at 10/1 with Paddy Power.
Pamela Anderson Would Increase Viewing Figures
Other market movers include Pamela Anderson who is now 12/1 with Paddy Power and Tim Henman who is 14/1 with Paddy Power. Henman seems far too boring to be a big hit in Big Brother but Pamela Anderson would certainly draw the crowds and could be an interesting bet.
Paris Hilton And Robbie Williams Could Take Part
Other celebrities rumoured to be entering the house are Mutya Buena who is 18/1 with Paddy Power, Callum Best who is 20/1 with Paddy Power and Peter Kay who is 25/1 with Paddy Power.
