It looks as though it is going to be a successful Golden Globes for Danny Boyle and his film Slumdog Millionaire as they are favourite for both Best Director and Best Motion Picture.
Trainspotting Director Favourite For Golden Globe
Danny Boyle is just 11/10 with Bet365 and Paddy Power to be Golden Globes Best Director. His film, Slumdog Millionaire, tells the story of the life of an impoverished Indian teen Jamal Malik, who appears on the Hindi version of Who Wants to be A Millionaire, wins but is then suspected of cheating.
Fincher Teams Up With Brad Pitt For More Success
The second favourite to win is David Fincher who is 13/5 with Bet365. Fincher has been nominated for The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button which stars Brad Pitt. Pitt also starred in two of Fincher's other most popular films, Seven and Fight Club.
Sam Mendes Looking For Second Golden Globe
Sam Mendes, who came out of nowhere to bring us American Beauty in 1999, is up for Best Director for Revolutionary Road. Mendes can be backed at 9/2 with Bet365 and Paddy Power and Revolutionary Road marks his first film with his wife, Kate Winslet.
Ron Howard And Stephen Daldry Complete Betting
