Robinho Likely To Leave Manchester City Sooner Rather Than Later According To Betting
Thursday 22 January 2009 at 13:11
It seems that Manchester City are not having a good week with Brazilians. First their world record bid for Kaka falls through and then Robinho walks out on their training camp. He has insisted that he gets on well with Mark Hughes and respects him but newspapers are already linking him with a move to Chelsea and the bookies don't think he will be at City for much longer.
Robinho Bets
SkyBet are offering just 2/5 that Robinho fails to see out his contract with Manchester City, he is 7/4 with SkyBet to stay at City for his entire contract. Robinho signed a four year contract with Manchester City when he signed on transfer deadline day at the beginning of the season. Despite a slightly troubled season, Robinho has scored eleven goals this season and he is 9/1 with Stan James to be the Premiership top scorer. He is 22/1 with Paddy Power to win the PFA Player Of The Year.
Only Four Points Between City And Bottom
Despite their millions spent, Manchester City continue to be Premiership strugglers. They sit in eleventh place, just four points off bottom. Many have backed them for relegation this season and they are 33/1 with Blue Square to suffer that fate. With around £30m of new talent already signed in January they should be safe.
European Glory For Manchester City
Man City are third favourites to win the Premiership without the ‘big four'. Aston Villa are favourites at 1/5 with Coral, Everton are 11/2 with SkyBet and City are 25/1 with VC Bet and Coral. City may be out of both domestic cups but they are still in the UEFA Cup, they are 12/1 with Coral to win that competition.
